Over the next few weeks, the two boys had their routine. Taehyung would visit Jimin between 6 and 8 AM, their conversations never lasting longer than ten minutes. Then, between 8 PM and 12 AM, Taehyung would visit Jimin again, for the same duration as earlier.
But today, Jimin wasn't there when Taehyung arrived a little past midnight. Sure, he was late, but only by five minutes. There was a cat on the sidewalk, on his way over, and he couldn't just not pet it. He was sure that Jimin wasn't upset, so maybe he was just tired and went to sleep early. With that assumption in mind, Taehyung stayed in the tree for about fifteen minutes before deciding that it was best to go home.
