JIMIN POV

I woke up from someone jumping up and down on my bed. I look up and saw my beautiful daughter jumping on my legs.

"Come here my love!", I command with opening arms.

She bent down to her knees and I flung her over to the other side of the hospital bed.

I covered her with the blankets and I held her close to me.

"Are you sure you are okay daddy?", she looked up at me.

"I promise,", I smiled at her and kissed her forehead.

"Dad?", she asked.

"Yes?"

"We should get ice cream!"

"Now?"

"Please?"

I scoffed and agreed. I walked out of the hospital with my arm around TingTings shoulders.

We both got into my car and drove to Cherry's Ice Cream Parlor. We walked in and the kind old lady greeted us.

"Hey guys! I'll get you guys the usual. Go ahead and sit down."

TingTing and I were sharing it when she said something,

"We should do this more often...I like it."

"Do what?", I asked chuckling.

"I want to hang out with you more. I mean middle school is starting soon and I just want to make  time for my dad before I get loads of homework. I just want to spend every precious time with my dad."

"Same here. Promise me something?"

"What?", she asked licking the whipped cream.

"Dont change. Be yourself, don't get a bad influence from people at school."

"I promise! Trust me daddy."

I smiled and we continued to eat our dessert. When we were done, we said bye to the old lady and she waved. We got into the car and did some carpool karaoke. While singing, I looked over at TingTing and she had the brightest smile on her face. She looked back at me and said,

"What?"

"I like it when you are happy, it just warms my heart."

She smiled and went back to singing.

I love you so much TingTing!, I thought the whole way home.
