A young girl named Ting Ting has lived in an orphanage almost her whole life. She is now 4, and still doesn't have a home. One day, a young man walked in looking for a daughter, What will happen when he see's Ting Ting?
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping at my window. Today is my birthday! Im turning 8 years old! I quickly got off my bed trying not to wake my dad up. But that failed. I felt my hand being pulled down into the bed again. My dad looked at me in the eyes and cupped my cheeks.
"Happy Birthday Sweetheart! 8 years old huh? I have a surprise for you downstairs, but go get ready first and do not go down without me, understood?"
I nodded and he gave me a light peck. I got up and headed to the bathroom, I decided to take a cold morning shower to wake me up.
JIMINS POV
After I heard the shower running, I knew I had at least an hour to get Ting Tings Birthday party set. I quickly got changed and went downstairs to make coffee. All of the boys came into the living room and we started talking about how we were going to set things up. About a half an hour later, we finally finished making the downstairs floor look like an epic party, we heard Tings Tings door open and I told her uncles to hide behind some furniture while I go get her surprise present. After I got it, I hid behind the couch where Jin was. When we heard Ting Ting coming down the stairs, we heard her talking on the home phone.
"Okay, see you there. Bye!", was what I heard.
She entered the living room and everyone jumped up and yelled SURPRISE! Ting Tings eyes widened and she laughed.
"Aww...You didn't have to."
"Of corse we did, every birthday is important."
I rubbed her head and asked,
"Who was that on the phone?"
Ting Ting POV
"Who was that on the phone?", my dad asked.
The person that called me was this cute boy at my school. I mean we are not dating or anything but I mean he is a friend. My dad would kill me if he knew I was talking to boys behind his back, he says I'm too young to date. I mean today is my birthday...I guess I'm just gonna have to-
I was interrupted of my thoughts by my dad asking the same question.
"Um. It was Uncle GD..."
"Oh. Thats weird, I thought he was on embargo with us."
"........."
"Ting Ting, Dont lie to me, Who was on the phone?"
"Ugh fine, it was some guy at school."
"Are you guys dating?", my dad asked wide eyed while gritting his teeth.
"NO!! Dad, I promise you, we are just friends, he just wanted to with me a happy birthday."
"Oh well thats sweet of him. Anyways, Open this."
He then handed me a big brown box. We all sat down on the blue couch and my uncles were surrounding me. I open the box and start to throw the tissue paper everywhere. What I saw inside was something that made my face light up. I carefully take it out and look at it closely with tears in my eyes. It was a big picture frame with my dad and I hugging each other on the day he adopted me. My eyes were balling and my dad came to hug me tightly. He kissed my forehead softly and he told me to read the note, I grabbed a pink envelope and began to open it. Inside was a handwritten note.

I completely lost it after reading that. My dad pulled me into an even tighter hug while kissing my cheek multiple times. "I love you so much Ting Ting. Never ever forget that okay?" "I won't. I love you too." I kissed his nose and my other uncles came rushing in with more presents. After opening their lovely gifts, I couldn't help but just smile. "You guys are the best!", in the mean time we all started to party while my aunts and uncles slowly started to come in. My aunty CL came up to me while I was dancing to Beyoncé. "Hi honey! You must be Ting Ting!" " That's me, who are you?" "I'm your aunt CL! I'm your dads close friend." "Nice to meet you Auntie CL!" JIMINS POV I saw CL talking to Ting Ting. While my daughter was occupied I went over to the buffet line and started to get some food for her. I came back to giver her a plate and Ting Ting sat on my lap while eating. "Are you having a good time?" "Yes daddy! Of course, I couldn't be more satisfied!" "Good, you deserve it dear." Ting Ting blushed before going to the dance floor again. I was sitting on the couch smiling because Ting Ting looked like she was having the time of her life. By night time, everyone left the party and Ting Ting was nowhere to be found. "TING TING!! BABE! WHERE ARE YOU!?" I saw Jungkook look under the couch and there she was. Sleeping like an angel. Jungkook pulled my hand over and told me that he was going to bed. I carefully grabbed Ting Tings arm and carried her upstairs. I tucked her into the bed and slipped into the sheets next to her. I studied her chubby and cute face that was laid against the pillow. I cupped her cheeks and gave her a light kiss.
"I Love you so much Ting Ting."
I then pulled her closer and cuddled her for the rest of the night.
