"Max, what are you doing here?!" I choked out
Shock, confusion and worry were racing through my body, who did he think he was! Showing up after 3 years
"I decided to move back here, now i will repeat this question... Where is my daughter?" He asked slyly
"Away at my mums. And how dare you call her your daughter! What have you done to support Sam?" I bellowed
"Sam? I like that name" He said
"Go" I breathed
"Look, i know i what i did was wrong , but i was just a kid!" He yelled
"You were 18 Max! I was 15, you just left me! I raised Sam on my own, with the support of my parents and friends!" I sobbed letting the tears spilled
"Quinn! Please! I'm 21 now, I can take theese responsibilities in to my own hands, give me a chance babe!" He pleade
I was about to speak when Sams voice ehoed through the room
"Mummy! I cant find Lilly!" Sam cried running in the room with tears streaming down her face, Max's face lit up as he stared at his daughter for the first time
"Sam! Wheres grandma?" I asked scooping her up
"Quinn! Sorry were back but Sam was screaming for Lilly" My mum came running in
Max caught her eye and her puffed out expression turned into fury
"OUT!" She yelled pointing at the door
"Susan! Good to see you again! Please can we work this out?" He begged
"Max, get out! You abandoned her when she was just 15! Quinn doesnt want or need you in her life, and neither does Sam! NOW GET OUT!" Mum screamed
Sam started crying into my shoulder
"Grandma! Stop shouting!" She sobbed
Max walked over to Sam and tried to grab her off me when my mum slapped his arm away
"Please go..." I whispered
"I still love you Quinn, I do, and i will not rest until i can see my daughter!" He said with anger , then stormed out
Mum took Sam from me and i let the tears spill. How could he do this, why now?
"Shhhh! Darling it's ok!" My mum assured me cradling me in her arm
"Why did he come back?" I asked
"Who cares, the only thing important is that he is out of our lifes" My mum whispered
"Mummy what is happening?" Sam asked frightened
"Nothing sweetie, shall we go find Lilly then" I suggested taking her hand, i dont remember packing it, lucky Sam remembered or Sam would never forgive me
Sams face lit up "Yes please!"
I opened Sams wardrobe and pulled out a little rosey cheeked doll, She had long brown cotten hair and a cute little pink and dark purple pinnifor
"Here you are" I said handing Sam the doll
"LILLY!" Sam squeeled hugging Lilly tight in her arms
"Well, i'll catch up with you tomorrow" I told mum
"Oh no! Your getting in that car if you like it or not!" Mum demanded
I trailed to the car and cuddled up with Sam
"Are you looking forward to graduating next week?" Mum asked
"Oh i completly forgot!" I gasped
With all the problems and chaos i completly forgot i was graduating. And next week!
"I'm glad i will be finishing school, but i just dont want to do the speech!" I complained
"They wouldn't have chose you if they thought they couldn't do it" Mum added
"But i'm hopeless! I'll screw up!" I sighed
"You will not!" Mum argued
After that i ust remained quiet, it's something i would discuss... Not today
Suddenly something hit me
Matt doesn't give up on what he sets his mind to
He is stubborn , just like my mum
So the question running in my head currently was, what was going to happen with Max from here?
