"Hunny, wake up!" My mum whispered softly

"Hmm?" I said rubbing my eyes

"It's 3:00, you lazy bugger! Get up now! Brunch is on the table!" Mum yelled

"3:00 what the hell?" I asked surpised

"You do realise that in 3 hours you have to make a speech to the whole of your year!" Mum said sarcastically

"I completly forgot!" I said surprised

"Jees Quinn! How do you forget a graduation?" Mum questioned

"When you are 18, raising a 3 year old then having the father of your child show up out of the blue, telling me he still has feelings for me!" I yelled

"Well, i suppose that would be hard to get over" Mum agreed

"So whats for brunch?" I asked

"Good downstairs and find out!" Mum ordered

I pulled myself out of bed and wrapped myself up in my dressing gown then headed downstairs with my mum trailing behind me

"MUMMY!" Sam squeeled as i entered the living room

I scooped her up in my arms and hugged her tight

"Morning sweetie!" I cooed

"Guess what mummy!" Sam giggled

"What?" I asked

"When i grow up, i want to be a singing and dancing potato! Just like small potatoes!" Sam beamed

"Thats... Interesting" I said

"What? Dont you want to be a singing and dancing potatoe?" Sam argued annoyed

"Sure" I replied putting her down

"Grandma says Cbeebies channels are crap!" Sam whispered

"Sam!" I shouted

"What? Thats what grandma said. crap, crap , crap!" Sam sang

"MUM!" I yelled

"Yes?" Mum asked coming through the kitchen door

"Why the hell have you been swearing infront of Sam?" I shouted

Mum blushed "Sorry, but Sam hasn't stopped watching them at all today"

"Yeah, well , now  Sam has copied you, you know what she's like!" I  sighed

"Sorry" Mum apologised

"Now, go get your brunch, it's getting cold!" Mum ordered

I made my way into the kitchen and a smile stretched across my face

Short stacked pancakes were on a new firework plate, and someone had written                  GRADUATION GIRL! in syrup. I dug into it right away. And god was it delicous!

"Afternoon sweet heart!" My dad chimed behind me

"Hey daddy!" I squeeled giving him a hug

"I can't beleive how fast your growing up, first Sam, now your graduating!" Dad sighed

"Aww, i'll always be your little girl!" I promised

"I hope so, i can't beleive how mature you are, you have 2 sisters and 1 brother and your the most mature of the lot! I'm so proud of you" Dad said with tears fourming in his eyes
