"Mummy! I want to stay here!" Sam begged
"Look, you'll be back soon!" I told her
My mum told me to pack all my stuff before the builders get here , she said , i have to move in with her for a few weeks so she can put an extention on the house
Honestly there was no need, there is two of us, we dont need a bigger house, but my mums stubborn so i couldnt get out of this one!
"Can you come too?" Sam aked
I shook my head "No, i'll be over tomorrow"
Sam started crying as my mum drove off with her
As i started packing my phone vibrated in my pocket
"Hello" I chimed answering the call
"Hey Quinn! It's Liz! got a new phone and all!" She beamed
"Oh hey Liz! what do you want?" I asked
"Can i come over to yours, coffee?" She asked
"Yes sure, come over now if you want!" I suggested
"Ok thanks!" Liz said , then she hung up
Liz was my closest friend, and its been ages since iv'e seen her , with sam iv'e never really managed to get out
After ten minutes my door bell rang and i ran to answer
Liz was standing there , a big box of chocolates in her hand , a girl about 16 was standing next to her
"Sorry Q, i ran into my cousin on the way, you dont mind do you?" Liz asked
"No" I replied
"My name is Alisha" Liz's cousin said holding her hand out eargerly
"Hey, i'll get some cofee, take a seat" I beamed ponting to the sofa
When i came back , Liz and Alisha were deep in a conversation
They stopped talking as soon as they saw me
"What are all the boxes for Q?" Liz asked
"Oh mum wants to put an extention on the house , so i have to pack"
"So, Quinn, Liz told me you have a three year old, wheres your boyfriend or husband?" She asked eagerly
"Dont worry Q, you dont have to tell her, i know it's difficult" Liz assured me
"No, it's ok i have to get it off my chest" I told her
Liz gave me an 'are you sure?" look but i just nodded
"Well, i was in this long term relationship with this guy called Max, he was everything to me , and i could trust him with my life , we had been going out for 6 years now , and one night , when i was 15, we decided we were read...for ... it. One night , i forget to take my pill and 3 weeks later i realised i was expecting Sam , when i broke the news to Max , he left, he just left me sitting on my bed , he ignored my calls avoided me at school , then he switched schools... i havent seen him since, i tried to move on with my life , moving out was the first step, it's hard raising a kid , on your own, but i'm coping" I finished
Alisha's jaw dropped and anger filled her
"He just left you! without a word! THAT BASTARD!" Alisha yelled
I shot her thankyou smile and we drank our coffeee
"Ok, so none of you know this, i wasnt telling you until week 14 , but... I'M PREGNANT!" Liz squeeled
Me and Alisha looked at her surprised
"Congragulations!" I sang , running over to her and hugging her
"How far in are you?" Alisha asked
"6 weeks" Liz replied
"Oh wow! I'm so happy for you, how did your boyfriend react?" I asked
"He's called Blake, and he is scared, we both are, but he is taking it well, he told me, no matter what, he will do all he can to support the baby" She sighed
"Well , me and Alisha will get all your moving boxes and take to your mums and then we will be off" Liz said picking up a box
"You dont have to liz" I sighed
"I wasnt offering" She replied
When Liz and Alisha had put all the boxes in her car , they set off
20 minutes later the builders showed up and i just moped around
I went into the kitchen where a builer was making himself some coffee
"Can i help you with something?" I asked
The builder kept his back to me
"My names , Quinn parker, and you are?" I asked trying to start a conversation
"Your Quinn Parker?" He asked concerned
"Yes why?"
The builder turned to ace me and i let out a gasp
"Hello , Q " The builder said
"Max!" I choked out
"Wheres my daughter then?"
