  "Your hair is so pretty

"Your hair is so pretty." Evie ran her fingers through my hair.

"Yeah, sure, whatever." I pushed it down, as I hated what Auradon's magic was doing to it.

My roots were growing brown and most of the blue turned blonde, so it looks dyed, even though it's not.

"Really, Lili? C'mon, it's our last year of Auradon Prep, and I plan to make it our best."

"Evie, I transferred here somewhat near the end of the second quarter."

It's been an entire summer since me and Evie had one of these talks. I mostly spent the summer with Dad, and what our last conversation shocked me.

"Lilith, you need to find your mother, she is alive."

I was going to spend this year mostly searching for her, not like last year when I was worried about seeing Harry after Homecoming.

We're not back together, I eventually talked to him.

I told him I wanted to find what I really wanted, and if I still want him after that, then I'd want to be with him.

Though I'm not expecting him to just 'wait' for me.

I'll wait until I at least know how my mother is, or was.

And, besides, Maddox might actually be kind of, somewhat intriguing.

He was nice, sweet, funny and cute.

He was also tone and muscular, very, very muscular.

But he still wasn't Harry. My heart still hurt somewhat, I sill feel that void where he should be. Yeah, we hang out, and it's not awkward or anything, it's just. . .I still can't have that feeling where I just wanna run to him, jump on him, wrap my arms around his neck, and kiss him.

I pull myself back almost every time, but now, I'm slowly loosing that feeling.

  What is wrong with me?

I don't know what I want, and it makes me feel like a slut.

"Let's go, class starts in thirty, and I wanna catch up with Mal."

"I wanna catch up with Uma, it's been two weeks since I last saw her." I said, and grabbed my bag.

  "C'mon."

Everyone was outside, near the field, while I was with Uma, near the edge of the water. I looked at the Isle, and felt guilty. Sometimes, I lay awake at night wondering if I made the right decision to leave the Isle and stay at Auradon.

I looked back at the field to see Maddox talking with some AKs, then I searched for Harry, who's changed so much already. He dropped the eyeliner, and he got slightly taller. I wonder if his voice changed at all, though probably not.
