If I was a mom
I'd try to understand
I'd let my kids state
their side of the story
and give logic to any
decisions I make
regarding them
I wouldn't make them
do anything I wouldn't do.
And I'd be a friend first,
mother second.
Smothering your children
to the point of suffocation
doesn't make a good mother.
