Running

Panting

The drops of rain

Chill me to the bone

CRACK

I drop my watch

Evidence

I turn a sharp corner

SPLASH

I run through a large puddle

Slip

Scrape

GET UP

RUN

I run and run

Through the burning in my legs

The drops of water invade my now open wound

CRUNCH

I hear in the near distance

I must have dropped my peppermints when i fell

Evidence

I turn a corner

Deadend

"Well...it looks like there's nowhere to go, Kitten," he says

I turn to see him

My father

Walking towards me

With his arms held out

As if to give my a welcoming hug

But I knew

He had far more sinister intentions
