2:13 A.M insomnia - Markhyuck - COMPLETED

3:12 AM ~ in the city

The city was still dark and empty, but it wasn't cold, nor was it hot. Donghyuck felt most calm at these moments for sure. He loved the way the usually crowded streets were quiet, the way he could think about anything, the way he could see the night animals and could be free, the way that in a way he could disappear and no one would notice. Mark and Donghyuck had been walking for about half an hour now. Mark wasn't as tired as he was at first since he had been a bit woken up by the slight summer breeze and donghyuck's talking. It was now 3:12 when Haechan suddenly goes "Mark do you think we could take Johnny hyungs car and go around town?" Mark thought his eyes would pop out from shock. Sure mark had his license, I mean he was 18 but why had donghyuck suggested to go get Johnny's car at 3 AM??
Donghyuck smiled at mark and did some aegyo to make sure his best friend agreed to go with him. Mark sighed and nodded, it wouldn't hurt if they had a short car ride would it? Donghyuck squealed as he hugged his hyung "thank you, thank you, thank youuu!!" Mark hugged the younger back and laughed a bit "shh come on let's hurry up" he said starting to walk towards the dorms. Donghyuck and Mark talked about random stuff on the way the new kdrama hyuck watched on Saturday, the new speakers Mark bought on Tuesday, the way Taeyong smelled like febreeze all the time, the way chenle had almost made Donghyuck's ears ring with his laughter and many more things. The once quiet streets were now filled with the two young boys' laughter and smiles. Mark and Donghyuck smiled as they reached the SM Ent. Garages Donghyuck decided to go up for the keys as Mark decided to stay on watch. A few minutes later Donghyuck came running leaving Mark confused, as Haechan came closer and closer Mark saw that he wasn't going to stop any time soon, Donghyuck had grabbed mark's wrist and drug him behind him running on. To say mark was confused was a simple way to put it, "HYUCK WHATS GOING ON?" He shouted panting from the running. "JOHNNY HYUNG NOTICED ME! RUUN" Mark was terrified. Johnny was protective of his car. Mark didn't even know why he agreed in first place to steal it. Mark had an idea he stopped for a second and ran towards his escape building. It was now haechan's turn to be confused "COME ON!" Mark said shouting as he started climbing the fire escape ladder, Haechan followed close behind. After they were on top of the building both laid down panting. They stayed like that for a few minutes before both of them burst into laughter, they laughed till tears were rolling down their rosy cheeks and were basically wheezing like 2 old men. Neither of them knew what they found so funny but they laughed and laughed, after they were done laughing Mark opened his eyes and saw the beautiful reddish, pinkish sky with the sun starting to come up. He smiled. Maybe Donghyuck's insomnia wasn't that bothering as he thought it would be. They talked for a little bit talking about how the dawn was beautiful and how Johnny would kill them. Mark was in the middle of a yawn when he felt a head on his shoulders, he quickly froze up looking to Haechan seeing him calmly asleep on his shoulder. Mark smiled at the younger boy and pulled him closer letting him sleep listening to the city waking up slowly, and the cars slowly coming to life bringing people to their destinations.
Tonight was good
Mark thought to himself quietly smiling.
