3:45 ~ Rainy nights and puddle contests

2:13 AM
Mark was waiting for the knock on the door.
2:30 AM
it was raining even more now, the wind was blowing and the rain was hitting the window like pebbles being thrown at glass. Mark was worried. He tried calling Haechan, nothing. He decided to put on his hoodie and rain jacket, rain boots and went to look for his friend. He grabbed an umbrella if for some reason donghyuck didn't have one, the second he stepped outside he lowkey regretted it. The Rain was so god damn cold! Mark had decided to go to the SM dorms because maybe Donghyuck fell asleep for once.
When Mark had arrived to the dorms he quickly went to NCT DREAM's dorms to see if haechan was there. Nope. Hmm maybe he's in NCT127's dorms. Thought mark to himself quietly starting to make his way to NCT 127's dorms. Nope. Not there either. Oh my god what if he's at my house waiting for me open my door!!! Mark panicked he was about to run back home when he heard a cough from the roof. What on earth ??? A roof tha- DONGHYUCK THAT BETTER NOT BE YOU CATCHING A COLD. Mark ran to the roof and there he found His dear friend Donghyuck. He was sitting there in nothing but a thin hoodie which was now soaked and stuck to his chest and a little umbrella that barely covered anything. Mark was about to shout when he heard a heart breaking sob come from the younger boy. It truly broke Marks heart seeing Donghyuck, the one who was always smiling and pranking people sad. Mark carefully made his way over to the younger male and took off his coat so he could put it on Hyuck for protection and warmth. As haechan felt the weight on his shoulder he quickly tried hiding the fact he was crying looking up who was there with him. When he saw it was Mark he smiled a bit, which Mark of course returned and then sat next to him on the cold wet ground not caring about how wet his pants are gonna be. As Mark and Donghyuck sat in comfortable silence for a few minutes they thought about what to say. Mark was the first to speak "are you okay? Nevermind that's a stupid question forget that.. umm do you want to talk about it? I mean about what's bothering you" Mark rambled out his sentence. Donghyuck smiles at the boy and said "it's nothing don't worry I- I just wanted to go on a walk and now we can't because it's raining but it's whatever" he sighed at the end of his short sentence. Mark sat there awkwardly, he knew how much Haechan loves being outside at dawn and he felt bad for the younger one. As they sat there for a few more minutes Mark suddenly got an idea. "Come on I have an idea, go change your clothes to something warm and put on rain boots!" He said as he started running to his dorm that he shared with Jaehyun. He quietly creeped in and took out a pair of dry pants and changed real quick, after he had changed he quietly sneaked out and went over to Donghyuck's dorm room. Just as he was about to open the door the door opened from the other side "I'm done.. but why did I need to change?" Donghyuck asked "come on we're going for a drive. I took Jaehyun's Keys... hope he won't mind" Mark said smiling. Donghyuck couldn't help but smile a huge ass smile, he truly did have the best of best friends. Mark and Hyuck got in the car and Haechan couldn't help but wonder what time it was
3:45 AM
Wow. Time's gone fast. As the engine roared to life and Mark began to drive both of them listened to the music playing softly in the background along with the rain hitting the windows in such passion.
As they soon arrived to their destination which was a park they got their jackets and umbrellas ready. Mark was the first one to get out of the car followed by Haechan, as they were walking Mark suddenly felt his feet get soaked. He yelped a bit and looked down to see that he had stepped into a puddle, wow congrats idiot mark congratulated himself he sighed and looked a lil bit gloomy when haechan had an idea, he quickly walked to a puddle not too far from marks and jumped in it full force. As Mark heard the splash he looked up only to see Haechan giggling "Hyung let's make a race the one to jump into more puddles wins!!" Mark agreed to it quickly. The next 15 minutes was spent with them jumping all around the park from puddle to puddle getting soaked in the rain, they had fun though and couldn't wipe the smiles off their faces. After they decided to end the contest they decided to walk back to the car since it would be about 15 minutes more and talked for a bit "so who won?" Asked Mark "oh..uhhh.. I counted 30 how about you?" "I counted 27 so I guess you won congrats" "do I get a prize?" Asked donghyuck cheekily, mark shook his head laughing he should have known this was going to come "sure what do you want?" Hyuck better appreciate that I have money in the car "COFFEEEEEEEE!!!" Hyuck screamed in Marks ear not even hesitating about his answer "okay come on let's go" Mark said as they reached the car finally.
As they were on their way to Starbucks to get coffee mark heard light snores coming from the passenger seat.
When you wake up I'll take you for coffee don't worry
He then picked up the younger male and brought him (pfft more like dragged him on the floor) up to the dorms and put him to bed, he himself went into his and Jaehyun's dorm room to sleep. But not before checking the time.
5:25 AM.
