Amelia was walking down the hall with her face buried in a book when she heard an unfamiliar voice, there was a new girl at school. She stopped to have a quick look at the new girl then hurried on her way.
Later that day in Amelia's algebra class the teacher had an announcement so Amelia paused on the picture of a humming bird she was drawing to listen to her teacher Mr. Bankit. He said, "We have a new student in our class, this is Sarah she comes from Texas but will now be living here in Michigan for the rest of High School. Why don't you give her a nice warm welcome."
"Hi Sarah." The whole class said.
"Why don't you go sit over there by Amelia, since there is a chair that is not being use."
Sarah started to walk over to Amelia. They both had butterflies fluttering around in their stomach's. Everyone was looking at Sarah except Amelia, after Mr.Bankit's announcement she just went back to her drawing so all the attention wouldn't be drawn to her. Then all of a sudden a tall green eyed, raven haired girl walked up to Amelia.
"Hi, I'm Sarah."
