(TDG - Season 1)

You, Rick, Elektra, Faith, Carmen, Tee and Johnny were all sat in the living room playing truth or dare, and currently laughing your asses off after Tee dared Carmen to let her tickle her for ten minutes.

"Okay, Y/N," Carmen finally managed to catch her breath, still giggling as she turned to you, "Truth or dare?"

"Hmm," You tapped your finger against your chin inquisitively, "Truth."

"Who was your first kiss with?" The girly brunette asked you after a moment of thinking and you froze, caught off guard by the question. To anyone else, it would've been an easy question and they would've answered it without a second thought, but to someone who hadn't actually had their first kiss yet, well, it was a bit different.

"Um..." You panicked for a second, but only on the inside. You couldn't tell them the truth. You were almost 15, it was embarrassing, "M-my first kiss was, uh, was with...some kid in year 6. Yeah, yeah, but it was super awkward, I don't really wanna talk about it so... Faith, truth or dare?" Much to your relief, everyone seemed to buy your lie and the game carried on as normal. Well, everyone except maybe Rick, who wouldn't stop staring at you suspiciously from then on.

It wasn't until later after the game, when you were in your bedroom that the topic came up again. You were laying on your bad reading a book when there was a knock on your door.

"Come in." You called, putting your book down and sitting up. The door was pushed open and Rick walked in, causing you to roll your eyes and ask, "Can I help you?"

You and Rick never really got on perfectly. He loved to wind you up and embarrass you. You had no idea why, you'd never done anything to deserve this treatment.

"You're not a very good liar, you know." He told you, a smirk playing on his face as he leaned against the doorframe with his arms crossed.

"What are you talking about?"

"That rubbish about your first kiss being with a year 6." He claimed.

"It wasn't rubbish." You lied, avoiding eye contact with the teenage boy.

"Oh please, Y/N, when you've been through what I've been through, you can tell when someone's lying from a mile away; especially when they're a crappy liar."

"I am not a crappy liar!" You cried defensively. A little too defensively.

"So why did you lie?" He questioned, completely ignoring your protest.

"I didn't lie!" You insisted. Rick just gave you an unconvinced look until you finally decided there was no point in trying anymore and mumbled, "Okay, fine, I did."

The smirk on Rick's face only grew in smug satisfaction before asking a second time, "Why?"

"Because." You shrugged, once again looking anywhere but at him.

"Because...?"

"Does it really matter?" You snapped, desperate for him to drop it.

"I'm just curious. I mean, why would someone lie about who their first kiss was with. Unless..." You could almost see the lightbulb go off on top of his head as his eyes widened, "Oh my god, you've never kissed anyone, have you?"

You felt yourself go red as you stuttered out a response, "What? Of course I have! I-I've kissed loads of people!"

Rick just chuckled and raised an eyebrow, "Remember what we said earlier about crappy liars?"

You let out defeated sigh and threw your hands up in frustration, "Okay, fine! I've never kissed anyone! Ever! There, I said it!"

"How come?" Rick asked, walking over and taking a seat on your bed. The question took you by surprise slightly; you were expecting him to start making fun of you the second you confessed.

"I don't know, no one's ever wanted to kiss me, I guess." You gave a small shrug, you eyes downcast before you looked up and glared at Rick, "And now you have something else to use against me, so I hope you're happy with yourself."

And then it happened. Rick leaned forward and pressed his lips to yours. It lasted a mere few seconds and when he pulled away, you were stunned.

"Close your mouth, you'll catch flies." Rick laughed at your dropped jaw.

"But you...y-you just kissed me." You stuttered out causing him to chuckle again.

"I did, didn't I?"

"Why?"

"Because you're wrong about no one wanting to kiss you. In fact..." He turned an adorable shade of pink as he shyly scratched the back of his neck, "I've wanted to do that for a long time."

You couldn't believe your ears. You'd always had a crush on Rick, not that you'd ever admit that to anyone, and now he's telling you he might not hate you as much as you thought?

"But... But I thought you hated me." You said in a small voice.

"Quite the opposite, actually," He admitted, "I only acted like I hated you so you wouldn't find out that I... I l-like you."

"So, you've been pretending to be an asshole to me all these years because you like me?"

"Correct."

"That's a bit childish, don't you think?" You asked him with a smirk.

"Shut up." Rick rolled his eyes but the fond smile on his face told you he wasn't really annoyed, "So... Do you like me too or have I just completely embarrassed myself?"

You responded by putting a hand on his shoulder and leaning forward to place your lips on his.

You were both smiling like idiots by the time you pulled away, "Does that answer your question?"

Rick just gave you a cheeky smirk and asked, "Not quite, could you please repeat that?"
