Chapter 5

(Mallow's point of view)

I can't believe that Llima likes (y/n)! I mean sure she's the champion and everything. But I mean I'm so much prettier! Why can't he just admit that he likes me! We're going on another 'date' today. I mean I call it a date anyway. We're always hanging out, so we should just make it officially.

I am wearing a melon colored flower patterned shirt. With blue jean shorts and melon tennis shoes. I was walking down to the to diner. I saw him and waved.
He waves back and I walked over to him.

He said "Hey Mallow."

I said "Hey!"

We walked into the diner and sat down. We talked for a long time but I knew I had to tell him something.

I said "Llima, I have to tell you something."

Llima said "What's wrong Mallow?"

I said "I saw (y/n) and Gladion kiss."

Llima stuttered "W-what?"

I replied "I know you like her but she seemed so happy with Gladion."

Llima said "Mallow... maybe in my attempt to find love with (y/n), I didn't see you. I'd like to take you out on a real date Mallow."

I screamed mentally "Yes!!!!!!" Then more natural I said "I would love to Llima."

Llima payed for our lunch and said "How about tomorrow at 7:30 pm, we can have a nice picnic on the beach."

I replied happily "That's sounds lovely, Llima!"
With that we parted ways. I thought 'Maybe, just maybe Llima could fall for me. As long as (y/n) stays out of my way.' I smirked and said "But she's perfectly happy. It's all fine."

I walked to my house and laid on my bed. I sighed 'Llima, you are so sweet. Why can't everyone be as sweet as you.'
