"Mirror, mirror, on the wall. Who's the fairest of them all?"
"Me."
"LAUREN - SERIOUSLY!"
---
"I'm glad we were finally able to reach the ending scene."Liam fanned his face with his shaggy wig and slouched shamelessly into a chair. Zayn began picking up the knots in his wig and sat on a chair adjacent to Liam's. Lauren wore a stoic expression and sucked in a corner of her lower lip, as she watched Ariana prepare the last of the stage's settings. The play would begin in a few days and everyone was relieved at the progress they had made in a day.

"Nineteen seventy - three, Nineteen eighty - one, Nineteen ninety - three. What do you think happened to these coins on those years?"Camila spread the three coins apart by an inch each, and fingered her chin. She was propped up by her elbows and was lying next to Lauren on the bed. Lauren put a hand over Camila's shoulders, and scrutinized the coins.
"A lot."
"Tell me one about each."
Lauren laid her pointer finger over the first coin, and dragged it across the cotton sheets.
"This one was a change from a chocolate bar. The girl had just enough to buy her girlfriend it before saying good night."
Camila raised one eyebrow and looked over her shoulder to Lauren.
"Girls were allowed to date back then?"
"They kept their love hidden."
"How old were they?"
"She could only afford the chocolate bar, so she was in junior high."
"She knew love at that age?"
"Yup."
"What about this coin?"
Camila pushed up a smaller copper - toned coin to Lauren with her thumb. Lauren studied it and spoke confidently.
"This one was a change from a movie ticket. It was a bad movie, but the couple got to kiss at the end."
"That's a good ending."
"Isn't it?"
"And this?"
Camila took the last coin and held it between her index finger and thumb. She presented it before Lauren's eyes and asked.
"What's the story for Nineteen ninety - three?"
"It was given as a gift from a grandfather to his grandchild. The child thought it was worth millions because it was shiny and silver."
"What happened when he found out its real worth?"
"He used it on a coin - machine to buy a ring for a girl that he liked."
"Did she like it?"
"She was seven. She loved it."
"That's a good beginning."
"Isn't it?"
"Harry's been tutoring for a while now. I hope my brother's not giving him too much of a trouble - "
"LAUREN! I'M DONE TUTORING LOUIS - STOP GRABBING ME! WE ALREADY SPENT FOUR HOURS - "
"BUT I STILL DON'T GET IT, HARRY!"
"THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM! GO PRAY FOR A BIGGER BRAIN OR SOMETHING!"
"I TRIED PRAYING - IT DOESN'T WORK!"
