I guess I haven't told you about how we're getting there huh? Well as I've told you we live in New York, more specifically Cortland, New York. Our lake house is in Fruit Valley, New York, which is hours away. Yes, I'm stuck in my car with my mom who is singing old '90s music like the spice girls, pretty sure my eardrums are gonna explode, surprised they haven't already. I also have my 11 year old brother, Mason, screaming about he just caught another Pokemon. Just think of me rolling my eyes, I'm doing that right now, surprised they aren't stuck like that yet.

The way the car is moving, it feels if it's in slow motion, which is the exact opposite because we are on the highway going at least 70 mph. All the colors are mixing into a blur, the colors of fall all combining to be nothing. Nothing. Every time I look out the window, I get lost in my own mind, that can be scary sometimes. Everything still seems to be in slow motion till my mom takes me back to reality, to tell me we are almost there. Here we go again.
