Chapter 3

Sofia's POV -

It didn't take us long to get ready for the party. Nicole was wearing high waisted shorts, with a white crop top, & a pair of white sandals. She had on light makeup and beach waves.
Hannah was wearing a burgundy skater dress, with a gold pair of gladiator sandals. Hannah left her natural wavy hair down & put on light makeup as well.
I put on some high waisted leather leggings, with a white crop top, and red heels. I decided to go with red lipstick and do the smokey eye.

"Wow you look hot girl!" Nicole said grinning at me. I laughed did a little twirl so she could see my full outfit. "thanks girl you do too!"

"Alright I'm ready! let's go make this a night to remember!" Hannah cheered as she hooked arms with both of us. We all walked out of our dorm room and to Nicole's mustang that was parked out front. The party wasn't too far but we wanted to make sure we had a safe way of making it back here, instead of walking through the darkness.

It was now 11 p.m. and the party was really about to get started. We walked in to the frat house and went towards the living room first. Couples were all over the couches making out, while sweaty bodies covered the dance floor. I noticed towards the kitchen they had set up 3 beer pong tables so there could be multiple games. The frat house was pretty big so there was a lot of people at this party, especially since it's the first one of the year.

As we made our way to the kitchen to get something to drink Hannah got nearly tackled by some strange boy. I was guessing she knew him since she screamed but then started laughing.

"MATT! I almost fell over!" He began to laugh as he grabbed her by the neck and pulled her in for a kiss.

"Oh I'm sorry! I forgot to introduce you!" Hannah said as she pulled away from him. "Matt, this is our new roommate Sofia. Sofia, this is my wonderful boyfriend Matt." I gave him a polite smile and waved a little, not trying to make a bad first impression. Matt just smirked at me and said, "oh this is going to be fun". I was confused by what he said but brushed it off.

"Well let's go find the other guys, I'm sure they'd like to meet you too. And since you're my girlfriend's roommate that means I have to be your friend. That's the only reason why I speak to Nicole!" Matt laughed as Nicole punched him in the arm and laughed too.

Okay, so this guy seemed nice. I mean Hannah's a good girl so of course she'd be dating a nice, cute guy like him. I followed behind Matt and Hannah with Nicole by my side to the living room. In one area there was a small group of boys sitting and talking with each other. They all looked up as we got close to them.

"Oh look who's arrived! Didn't think you were gonna come back Matt!" A boy with big blue eyes and brown hair said. The other boys laughed along with him until they saw me and got quiet.

"Nicoleee, Hannahh, who's your friend?" A boy with a bandana wrapped around his head said as he stood up. He looked me up and down, smirking when our eyes met. I began to blush and awkwardly look around.

"Stop staring, Taylor! Boys this is our new roommate Sofia. Sofia this is Taylor, Nash, Jack G, Jack J (we call him JJ), Carter, & Cameron." Nicole introduced. I said hey, sat down, and watched them all for a bit while they talked amongst each other. They were all pretty good looking. I began wondering how Nicole and Hannah are friends with them because they kinda had a bad boy edge to them. My guess is because Hannah is dating Matt.. I looked over at them, sitting on the couch right next to each other. Matt was whispering something in Hannah's ear and she began to laugh loudly. I smiled, they seemed like a very sweet couple.

Nicole left to get herself a drink leaving me alone with the rest of the guys.. awkward.

"So Sofia, where are you from? I haven't seen you here before." JJ asked.

"I just moved here from Michigan! It's a very big change so far but I'm liking it." I answered with a smile. "So why are you guys just sitting here and not partying like everyone else?"

The boys laughed and looked at each other. "Well we did show up, so technically we are partying" Carter said. "But hey we're drinking, some of us have been smoking, is that not enough partying for you? You don't seem like a party type." He said to me with a smirk.

I laughed at what he said, silently thanking the gods for him thinking I'm not a partier. It's better for me to start out with a good reputation at this school than a bad one.

Nicole came back with a drink in hand and began pulling my arm, begging me to dance with her. I agreed and followed her to where the other people dancing were. "Red Nose" by Sage the Gemini started playing. I started smiling thinking back to when I first learned how to do this dance with my best friend Tracy back in Michigan.
"OMG please tell me you know how to do the Red Nose?!" Nicole asked. I nodded my head and she gave me a big grin. She went behind me while I danced to the chorus. After the chorus we separated and just did some silly dance moves laughing at each other, waiting for the chorus again. We got ready, with me in front of Nicole again but right before it came, a male voice was heard from behind me.

"Mind if I cut in?"
