I don't know very much about college so a lot of stuff is just gonna be made up like how I would imagine it to be.

Sofia's POV -

I arrived to the campus and began heading to the administration building. The campus was beautiful. Green grass and trees all around the brick path caught my eye immediately. I could already tell I was going to love it here. The main building was very tall, with many arches in the front. There were two large pillars to the sides of the entrance.

I walked into the building and went to the main office. I was greeted by a middle-aged woman with short blonde hair.

"Hi, I'm trying to find my dorm room, can you help me out?"

She looked up at me with an annoyed glance and sighed, "Name?"

"Sofia James." I said with a small smile.

She typed on her computer until she found what she was looking for and stood up. The woman left the room for a few minutes, then came back with a key in hand.

"You are in dorm number 272, the other 2 girls you will be sharing the room with should already be in there, setting their stuff up. Have fun!" She sarcastically laughed.

I thanked her and began walking to find my new room. Once I got there I knocked on the door first, just to be polite. A short girl with long dirty blonde hair greeted me.

"Hey you must be our new roommate. I'm Hannah, Hannah Johnson!"

Her green eyes stuck out the most to me on her pale complexion. I gave her a polite smile and said hello. She seemed like a pretty nice girl so far. As I walked further into the room, I saw another girl laying on a bed reading a fashion magazine. She noticed my presence and got up to introduce herself.

"Hey what's up? I'm Nicole Watson." She had brown eyes and brown medium length hair.
'Wow she has the most perfect tan ever! Okay Sofia, let's not be creepy now..' I thought to myself.

After I introduced myself to her, they showed me what bed would be mine and all the space that I had to put my stuff. I began unpacking and had small talk with the girls for a bit. The two of them have lived in California all their lives and were comfortable with the school and people here already. They both seemed like really nice girls. I was just happy to make some friends right away.. It's hard coming to a new place where no one knows you at all.

"So, why did you come all the way to Cali from Michigan?" Hannah asks me.

I hesitate for a moment trying to think of an answer. I don't think I should tell them my life story this early into meeting them so I left it at a simple "There's no snow here! I just wanted a change of scenery." The girls bought into it and laughed at my response.

"Well speaking of Michigan, you got any parties over there? I heard there's supposed to be this big 'Welcome to College' party tonight. Want to go with Me and Hannah?" Nicole looked at me with a smirk. Oh she must be crazy if she thinks I can't handle a party! But I didn't come here for that. I told myself I would leave that lifestyle behind but here I am tempted again..

"Yeah they've got a few. Sure I'll go! But I am staying sober tonight no matter what! Got it?" I looked at them with a grin while they both nodded their heads and started getting ready for the party.

Well this is going to be an interesting night...
