A/N  Hello, awsome readers! Great to talk to you again! So, I know some of you must hate me for the cliff hanger way I ended 'The Witch Prophecy', but as promised, here is the sequel! Yay!!!! If any of you haven't read 'The Witch Prophecy', please do so BEFORE you read this story. If not, you will be very confused. Anyways, I was going to wait until I had more than one chapter ready to put the sequel out there, but I was afraid that you guys would forget about me and my promise! So I'm sorry if your disappointed that there is only one chapter so far and it's REALLY short. But hey! I will be updating tomorrow if I have time! Oh, and if there are any Vampire Diaries fans reading this right now, check out my fan fiction 'Should I Love or Stake?'! So enjoy! And don't forget to comment and tell me whatcha think! And vote and fan! ~ You number one fan, Alex <3

"Headshot!" The speakers on my tv boomed.

"Damn it!" I muttered, fuming as I watched the replay of my epic failure of attempting to ambush someone and dying on my video game.

I was playing xbox in my living room, trying to act like my life was normal.

It wasn't really working.

"Damn, Katie. You've lost your game," Brian's voice stated through my microphone.

"Brian...." I warned, danger laced in my voice.

"Sorry! Touchy, touchy..." He muttered.

I rolled my eyes at his comment even though he couldn't see me.

"You know, Brian. It would be nice to help your girlfriend kill someone that killed her on xbox," I told him.

"Oh, really? I didn't know that," Brian teased. I could hear the smile in his voice.

"Your cruel," I accused playfully.

"I'm bored. And missing you. Can I come over?" Brian asked.

I bit my lip, wanting desperatley to say yes and cancel my plans to spend time with Brian, but I know that wouldn't be the right thing to do.

"I wish, but Taylor and Autumn are coming over for a slumber party. They should be here any minute."

"Ugh, fine. When can we have a slumber party?" Brian asked cockily.

I smiled. "That sounds tempting."

He chuckled lightly and then the doorbell ringing stopped our conversation.

"Got to go, hun! I love you," I told Brian, smiling like an idiot.

"I love you too, Katie," Brian said before I turned off the xbox and jogged to the door where it sounded like someone decided to lean on the doorbell.

I flung the door open and smiled when I saw my friends. "Hey, guys! It's great to see you! Just put your stuff her-"

"BATHROOM!!!!!" Autumn yelled and tackled me to the floor before zooming towards my staircase.

I watched her cherry-red head bob up the stairs and disappear down the hallway.

I looked back at Taylor with an eyebrow raised.

Taylor shrugged and extended a hand to help me up which I gladly took.

"We had a water drinking contest in the car. She won, but I wouldn't stop to let her go to the bathroom," Taylor said with a mischevievous smile.

I laughed and slung Autumn's bright blue bag over my shoulder. "I'll be a good host and take this up to my room."

Taylor smiled and asked very childishly, "Race ya?"

I rubbed my imaginary beard and pretended to think about it.

Then I glanced back at Taylor before racing to my room.

Taylor's brown hair tangled with my blond as she tried pushing past me and we both made it to my room in record time.

"Victory is mine!" Taylor yelled, fist-pumping the air before plopping onto my bed.

"Pshhh, you wish! You know I creamed you," I said very matter-or-factly.

Taylor snorted and threw a pillow at me. I ducked and the pillow collided with something behind me.

"Ow," Autumn whined, walking out from behind me holding her nose in one hand and the pillow in the other.

"Oops! Sorry," Taylor apoligized, smiling sheepishly.

Autumn muttered death threats under her breath, but apparently decided to let it go as she sat on the stool at the end of my bed and looked at me. "What do you want to do, Kat?" She asked, using her old nickname for me.

"Hmmmm," I tapped my chin for a moment and then dropped my hand to my stomach. "I want food."

Taylor chuckled and whipped out her phone. "Shall I order a pizza?"

Autumn laughed, got up, and walked over to me. "Yes, yes you shall." She slung an arm over my shoulders and we laughed like old times, but we knew it wasn't normal.

To anyone else, I look like a regular teenage girl, hanging out with friends and ordering pizza.

That was far from the truth.

No matter how hard I try, I couldn't escape the fact that my parents and best friend are dead, my dog was missing or probably dead, there was a bunch of power-crazed witches running around, I was possibly being haunted, and I'm a witch.

But I take moments like this to push those thoughts aside and at least act like I'm normal instead of paranormal.

It's the closest I'll get.
