Alternate Ending

Hey guys, I was debating between two different endings and so the last chapter was the one I decided on, but I thought that I should go ahead and post this version, too. Hope you like it. ^_^

Lanona smiled at the three and a half walls full of pictures. A tap on the door made her walk over to it and open the door. Ash stood there smiling at her. She stepped away so he could step in. His mouth gaped open in awe as he looked at all the pictures.

"Do you have enough to finish?" he asked. She shook her head.

"How about we go take some, with everyone?" She took a deep breath as she looked at a picture of JJ and Ellie on the wall.

"Do you not forgive them? I won't until you do," Ash said smiling and grabbing her hands. He set his forehead on hers.

"Do you want to take some pictures?" She nodded her head slightly and squeezed his hand.

"Okay. Everyone is at the park. Let's go." She let go of him and reached for the camera before leaving to go to the park.

When they arrived, Ellie, JJ, and Alex greeted her. They looked so happy to see her. Ash explained why Nona wanted some pictures of everyone. Everyone agreed and gathered to take pictures. Each one took a picture with Lanona and then some. It was a happy time. After about two hours, Nona and Ash left to get the pictures developed.

They got back and began to tape those to the wall. Ash handed Lanona the last picture. She taped it to the wall in the last open spot. She smiled.

"It took me a while to find myself," she said and looked at Ash. She hadn't talked for a year. His mouth was agape.

"Welcome back." She strolled through the recent pictures that they just took.

"Oh, someone else got in our shot in the background." She stared harder into the picture to see if she knew the guy. He had brown hair. Her eyes got huge and she screamed. Ash looked into the picture and realized who it was. He was supposed to be dead. Harwin Hastings.
