~Aurora
The next morning I awoke to a soft knock at the door to my newly given bedroom, I sat up in the bed pulling the sheet up to cover my body, not want them to see my revealing pajamas. I always got too hot when I slept and since I was a little kid had worn very little to bed.
"Come in," I said, and a few seconds later the door opened and a young girl around the age of 6 walked into the room, struggling to hold the metal tray filled with food and walk over to me.
She was one of the most adorable little girls I'd ever seen. She had dirty-blonde shoulder length hair, a nice pair of ivory capris, and a dark navy blue dress shirt. Her head was bowed making it hard to see her face well.
"Beta Noah sent me with, with your breakfast, Luna." She said looking at her feet, not meeting my eyes. I coughed catching her attention, her eyes met mine and I gasped, her eyes were unlike any I'd ever seen before, such a bright blue, it was amazing.
I watched still shocked, as she bowed before continuing towards me. The little girl looked like she was deep in concentration as she bit her bottom lip. She was so deep in thought it was understandable that she didn't see the corner of the long black rug at the side of my poster bed flipped over just waiting to be a disaster.
"Hey, watch out-" my warning was too late as she tripped. I caught her before she fell to bad but the water on the side of the tray tipped and fell on the carpet with a clang as it rolled away on the wood floor, dumping the water within all over the floor.
"I'm so sorry, Luna. P-Please forgive me." The little girl was shaking, she must have been terrified. She went to work quickly, putting the tray full of food on the bottom of the bed and grabbed a towel from the bathroom closet and started rubbing the carpet, trying to rid the evidence of her mess up.
I pushed the covers off and grabbed the robe placed beside my bed. I tugged on the robe before hurrying over to pull the small girl up off the floor.
I kneeled down so I was her size, wanting to feel relaxed. I knew from experience that when you meet leaders in high command it's terrifying. I could just imagine how she felt right now, so I wanted to try my best and calm her down.
"Shh, it's okay calm down sweetie. It's just a bit of water it will dry." I cooed softly, she was sobbing so I pulled her into a comforting hug, playing with her beautiful blonde hair, which thankfully calmed her down quickly. Finally after the waterworks had stopped I pulled away from her, having the intention of knowing what to call this sweet little girl.
"What's your name?" I asked, using my thumbs to wipe away the tears lingering on her rosy cheeks. She sniffed a bit from crying and rubbed her puffy eyes, her round lush lips out in a pout from her crying.
"Rosie," she answered in her still small voice.
"Well it's nice to meet you Rosie, might I say you are the cutest little girl I've ever seen." I grinned down at her making her perk up slightly. Rosie smiled at me before she pointed at the tray.
"Beta Noah said you needed to eat and sent me to give you the tray." She looked at me and looked around the room to see if anyone else was in here, after confirming we were the only ones in here she turned to me and leaned forward like she was about to tell me a secret. "I ate one of the strawberries on the way up here, but don't tell Beta Noah."
