"Come on Luna, just one more push." The Pack Doctor says, making the deep breathing movements that she had been told to copy.
"It hurts," Ella, a sweet small woman around the age of nineteen, groaned as sweat rolled off her forehead. The Doctor nodded understandingly, but still motioned for her to continue pushing.
Ella wanting all of this to end as quickly as possible pushed as hard as she could. Soon the sound of a babies cry filled the room and Ella sighed in relief. The Doctor did what he needed to before holding the baby so Ella could see him.
He was slightly small, though Ella had no doubt that he would be strong and handsome when he grew older, just like his father.
"Jason," she whispered quietly, though she knew everyone in the room could hear her. His loud cries filled the room as a nurse came and took Jason away from the Doctor and he turned to tend to his Luna again.
A few minutes later the next baby was born, another boy, this time the babies cries were quieter. He was smaller than the first one but still larger than a normal baby, though since they were both the offspring of an Alpha that was expected. Ella had a big smile as she said this one, "Jasper."
The Doctor then took him away to get cleaned up. Ella was relieved that the pain was over. And soon she fell into a deep sleep.
About an hour later the Doctor walked out of the small hospital room to where his Alpha sat in the chairs provided.
"Well, Alpha we have two boys, a healthy 7 pounds each. Though the Luna is bleeding a bit more than usual, that could be because she is human." The Doctor stopped smiling when the Alpha glared at him.
"Dispose of the second one." The Doctor frowned thinking he had misheard what his Alpha had said.
"What-" The Doctor was cut off before he could finish talking.
"You heard what I said, dispose of the second child and tell the Luna it died of natural causes."
"But Alpha," the Doctor chocked on his words, scared to disobey his Alpha. Disobeying his Alpha meant he would get thrown out of the pack and labeled as a rouge.
"Now!"
The Doctor scurried out of the room, not wanting to feel his Alphas wrath. His Alpha hadn't been the same since he had lost his true mate. The Doctor had hoped that Ella would have been able to bring him back.
The Doctor walked back into the room to see the Luna fast asleep on the bed. He walked over to the joining room where they cleaned the babies off. He walked over to the two bins that held the precious little angels in them. How could he obey his Alpha and go through with this? The honest answer was he couldn't.
The Pack Doctor gently reached in and picked up the baby, who the Luna had named Jasper, who was wrapped in a light blue blanket. Then walking out of the hospital part of the Packhouse, he while making sure no one was watching him, walked outside. The Doctor felt more relieved as the forest began to surround him.
The moon was high in the sky as the Doctor quickly made his way through the forest reaching the border faster than he ever had before. If only the Alpha knew what he was doing. He shuddered at the thought, knowing if the Alpha knew he wasn't going to kill the baby the Doctor would be punished severely and then sentenced to death.
Soon he could see the lights of the outcasts that had been kicked out of the pack when they had gotten on the Alpha's bad side, having been at the wrong place at the wrong time. Though they were completely peaceful, just having the title of Rogue.
The Doctor soon reached the edge of the small village. He was panting now, having run very far very fast.
The few people that were out gasped when the saw him, but he just ran on past them not sparing them a glance. The Doctor ran up to the house of his friend that had been kicked out of the Pack almost five years ago. He pounded on the door frantically, and he opened just a few minutes later.
"Vince, I didn't know where else to go." The Doctor said gasping for air. Vince looked around and waved his old friend in.
Once inside Vince gave a weary look to his mate who stood in the hallway. He didn't know why his friend was here but it couldn't be a good sign by the flustered look he had.
The Doctor sat down on the couch and uncovered the babies face, Vince's mate let out a puff of air and came to sit down, the doctor gently handed him over to her. When the Doctor was sure she was okay with the baby he turned to Vince.
"He's the Alphas second son, Jasper." Vince flinched at the word Alpha, which was probably a reason why he and his mate didn't join another pack. "The Alpha wanted him dead but I couldn't do that."
Vince nodded in understanding, glancing at his smiling mate as she held the baby who had quickly fallen asleep. Vince had longed for children for years, but his mate, who was human and due to complications was unable to have children, wasn't ever able to have children. He knew that she felt bad for not being able to provide him with kids but he wanted to be with her more.
"We'll raise him," Vince said his voice firm. His mates head snapped up as she looked at him with surprise and happiness.
"Thank you," the Doctor said standing up from the couch. "When the other son is older I will tell him and hopefully he can put an end to all this suffering."
The Doctor looked through the living room window at the starry sky. "Long live Jason Husher, Alpha of the Death pack."
