(Above: winter rush.)
Tara P.O.V
I've been here for about a week, the horse Ty saved (the one who got shot) is recovering really well.

Today, When I get to the barn, Amy is watching Spartan in his stall, with a small smile. She turns when she hears me enter.
"Hi Tara, so I noticed how well you were riding and I wanted to invite you on a trail ride with Georgie, Ty and I to look for a few lost cows. We leave in two hours. interested?" She asks. I nod. Sounds fun.
"Great, pick any horse. Please meet me in the ring in ten minutes." She says and I nod again.
"Okay, see you soon Amy," I say.
I walk past a few stalls until I come to a gorgeous mare. She is a buckskin. She has a black mane and. Tail and a yellow-creamy coat. I smile and read her name plate, winter rush. I smile, it's a cute name. I offer my hand for her to sniff, to get to know me, she sniffs it and nudges my hand, I stroke her face.
I gently clip the lead to winters halter, open her stall and lead her out.

----small time skip----
"Okay, good. Slow her down to a walk to cool her off, we are leaving in half an hour." Amy calls from the ring's fence. I respond with a nod and pull winter up. Amy wanted to see my riding skills, without the rush of saving the horses. Who knows where they'd of ended up!

I walk for five minutes then get off, lead her out and tie her up.
Georgie comes out with two carrots. She hands one to me, "here, I know she loves carrots!" She says and I smile a thanks and offer the carrot. We talk a little until it's almost time to go. I help Georgie tack up Phoenix and we Trott around the ring together until Amy and Ty are done tacking Spartan and Harley up. We exit the ring as Amy and Ty mount Spartan and Harley.
"Okay, let's go!" Ty says and we all head out along a peaceful trail in peaceful silence.
----ten mins later (sorry for so may skips)----
We found the cattle, about 8 Hereford's , grazing in a small clearing so we are herding them back to heartland.
I hear a branch snap and birds scatter, then it goes quiet. To quiet.
Suddenly three gun shots sound, spooking all the horses, Georgie and Amy are able contain there horses, Harley goes a little crazy and winter, well Winter decides now would be the perfect opportunity to Gallop, and the reins to slip out of my grasp. I try leaning back in the saddle but notice a log approaching. There is no way I can stop her so I gather her long silly mane and get into two point as we glide over the log, I immediately pull winter up as I grasp the reins and dismount, checking for injuries immediately. I feel up her legs and am relieved to find no injuries sustained. "You okay?" Amy asks trotting over.
"Yeah....winter is fine as well" I respond quietly, a little out of breath and get back on and we herd the cows back to heartland safely.

"What is with the shots?" I mumble as we all bring the cows home.
"I don't know. But something is going on here." Amy replies as we put the horses away.
