Chapter 8: SOME FUN/ TWO ADDITONS TO THE FAMILY!

One week later....

Ty, the kids and I have stayed at our home since we moved, it's really good and I'm happy, we all are.
It's around ten when we get a knock on the door. I peer through the hole and see that it's just Georgie.
"Come in. " I smile and open the door.
"Thanks, I put Phoenix in a stall next to Harley, Is that okay?" Georgie asks, coming in and hanging up her coat.
"Yep, so I've got some easy mac&cheese in the cupboard, and if they are still hungry after lunch, offer them an apple." I tell Georgie, referring to the kids. She's going to babysit for Ty and I while we go look at these Shetland ponies.
"Alright. I'll have two stalls ready by the time you get back." Georgie smiles to me.
"Thank Georgie. Ready to go Ames?" Ty asks, coming into the room.
I nod, just as Mel and Karl come up to us. "Be good for auntie Georgie." I coo to them, kiss them on the head then Ty and I leave. We have the two horse float hooked up to Ty's truck, we hop in and follow the directions to this owner.

"Okay. So they are both saddle trained, and my six year old niece has rode them both, with no troubles. King, the palomino, can get restless in the stall sometimes, but other then that he's all good. Harry, the brown, is very good. They've even been on trails, and they have no trouble with any other animals." The owner tells us.
"They sound great, what are the prices?" Ty asks, after checking them both for health issues.
"Well, for the lot, including tack, is $2400." The owner tells us.
Ty looks to me. "Give us a minuet to discuss, please."
Ty and I walk down the isle.
"What do you think?" I ask him when we are far enough away.
"Well, They are both healthy, they sound great, not to expensive." Ty tells me. I nod, and smile.
"Sound good then? What do you think, should we buy them?" Ty asks.
I nod, and we both tell the owner our decision.
"Perfect. I'll grab the papers. " the owner smiles, and Ty grabs the check book we brought, just in case.

"Oh my god, they are so cute!" Georgie grins as Ty and I lead the little guys out.
"I know right?!" I laugh, scratching the palomino, king, behind the ears.
"I've got two stalls ready, opposite Harley and Spartan. " she tells us. We nod and lead them into the stalls, king is the first on the right with Harry to his right.
"Can you please grab the tack for us Georgie?" I ask her. She smiles and goes and grabs it all in no time. Soon enough the saddles and other tack have found genre homes in our tack area.
"Should we show the kids?" I ask Ty and Georgie.
"Yeah! I've got them inside, playing." Georgie tells me.
We head inside and find the kids playing with building blocks in the lounge room. Me and Ty grab the kids, we cover their eyes with our hands.
"We've got a surprise for you and Karl, Mel!" I coo to her as we lead the giggling kids outside.
"Ooh, a surprise!" Me, giggles, Clapping her tiny hands.
"Yep, you and Karl are going to love it!" Ty grins, covering Karl's eyes.

We lead them to the barn, and I lift Mel up so she can see over the door, "open!" I grin and watch her reaction as she stares at king, her new pony.
"You got me a pony!" She squeals, connecting the dots.
"Yeah! You and Karl have ponies! What do you reckon, maybe tomorrow you can finally get that lesson you want!" Ty laughs, as Karl grins at Harry.
"Yes yes yes!" She laughs. I laugh with her, she's so happy, and I know she is going to love riding,so will Karl for that matter.
"This is King, and I know you will take great care of him!" I introduce him to Mel, who just giggles and nods in response.
Ty and I let them into the stalls and show them how to feed the horses, they feed Harry and king a carrot.
"Alright kids. Let's go in." I smile and Ty and I takes the kids in.
"Bye bye king-y!" Meal giggles to her pony as we walk out.

"Thanks Georgie. " I smile to Georgie as she's about to leave. "You know, we should do something to celebrate, moving in and all. " I smile to her.
"Yeah! Hey, I've got an idea, we should go camping!" She brings up.
"That's perfect! Just you, Ty, and I!" I smile to her, Ty coming to my side and putting an arm around my waist.
"Yes, well we better get Lou to agree, she'll need the details. Though I'm sure they'll be right at heartland for a week or so. Kara is there now, and Caleb is come back from that radio, so I think they'll be fine." I say, Lou has to agree and she's going to need all the details, plus I'm sure Lisa can look after Kay and Mel.

"We'll come over to heartland tomorrow, and talk." Ty concludes. George nods and waves bye as she heads to the barn to get Phoenix to ride the hour or so back to heartland.
"This will be perfect!" I smile to Ty, who nods and kisses me.
Then we go inside, and have some fun with our kids.
