Sky breathed heavily as he ran with the people he had to call a team, glancing behind his shoulder. No one was following them. He sneered. The chaos in the room was definitely helping-

"I SEE THEM!"

Okay, maybe it wasn't.

He cursed, running faster, his heart pumping and his legs almost a blur underneath them. Mitch was in the front of them, being carried by Jerome as Seto struggled to keep up with them. Ian and Husky were behind them with Chance in between them, and Deadlox was behind Ian while True was off to the side a bit, in front of Sky who was in the very back. He stared at their backs, trying to keep control of his breathing. He couldn't get out of breath now, and he certainly couldn't stop, even though his legs were aching. I guess you do get a bit out of shape whenever you slept for less than three hundred years.

They passed through a clearing, and a few meters from behind them, a group of squid guards skidded to a stop while the one in the front aimed his arrow toward Sky's back. They aimed, their breath quick, gripping the bow string tightly, before they fired with a shout. The arrow whizzed through the air, and a few short seconds passed before Sky suddenly let out a loud shout, falling forward, over a log as he tumbled across the ground. True turned his head, his eyes widening.

"SKY!" He skidded to a stop, turning and racing back toward Sky. He grabbed the Commander, who was withering in pain with his eyes squeezed shut. True cursed, before he picked Sky up bridal style, avoiding his back which he could feel pulsing with pain, as if something had struck it. He was afraid to look, afraid to feel. He was no medic. They had two wounded now. He shook his head. They had to get somewhere safe...

"I got him!" The squid leader shouted, and the rest of the team cheered.

"What about the others?!"

"Let them run! There's poison in that arrow, that bastard won't survive! They're nothing without their leader!"

An hour or so later

Mitch and Sky were laid out by the fire that Chance had created moments ago. Seto was switching between the two, spending more time on Mitch with his bleeding side, but the bleeding was coming to a stop as Seto casted more and more spells and shoved more and more potions down his throat. Jerome sat at Mitch's side, clutching his hand, keeping him awake by talking to him about different memories that they had had during their time together.

Ian and Husky were off hunting, but they probably weren't getting anything. They could hear their arguing from the camp. More than likely, every animal in this part of the forest had probably escaped. Chance shook his head, sharpening his and Husky's weapons as True sat by Sky, staring down at the Commander with furrowed eyebrows.

The strange thing was that Sky had no wound. They took his shirt off, which had fresh blood inside of it (Deadlox was washing it off now), to see where the arrow had struck. But, there was nothing. No entrance wound, and Seto could sense no arrow inside of him. They had no idea where the blood came from, but Seto was certain it was Sky's. Without knowing what else to do, Seto just kept checking up on him, rolling him onto his side every now and then to check and see if there were any wounds on his back.

But, in the thirty minutes that they had spent in the makeshift camp, there was none.
