Husky watched as Seto washed the dirty clothes in the bucket of soapy water, the sleeves of his jacket rolled up so that they weren't soaked in with the water. He had already finished half of his pile, which was more than Husky could finish in a night. Though all of the leaders rotated on laundry duties, Seto was always the one who got the most clothes done for them. On top of that, he was the reason why they had strong forcefields around their clearing to protect them at night, and also why they didn't have food poisoning. The male could definitely cook.

He was perfect. He could clean, cook, heal, and fight when he had something to protect. His magic was strong, too... A nice, beautiful shade of a dark purple. The shade always brought memories back, but Husky always pushed them away. And he pushed them away now as he walked to Seto, the sorcerer glancing up at him as he stopped beside him, his hands pushed into the pockets of his jacket. Seto smiled slightly, blowing a piece of stray hair that had fallen in front of his eyes back behind his ear. "Hey stranger." He said, and Husky nodded in reply before Seto looked back down at his clothes, continuing to clean a shirt who had the misfortune of having an owner who fell into the nearby swamp earlier that day.

After a few minutes, Husky walked away. Seto was a bit confused, but he didn't question the male's strange actions. He was used to it after nearly living with him for a year.

And since he had been dating him for about nine months.

Suddenly, another bucket of soapy water was dropped beside his, making him jump and look up in surprise. He blinked as he saw Husky sitting down beside him, his jacket gone. He instead wore a sleeveless black shirt that showed off his muscles, and had his own load of clothes beside his bucket. He glanced at Seto, and he rolled his eyes. "I can't sleep." He said simply, before he began to clean a shirt. Seto watched him for a while, before he chuckled and continued with his own pile of laundry.

Seto could tell something was on Husky's mind, and he had a feeling he knew what it was. But, he only hoped that he would get the courage to speak his mind before Husky did. He was finishing his last pile of laundry, when he heard Husky's voice.

"Seto."

He held back a shudder, and his voice caught in his throat. He dried his hands on a towel that was in front of the wastebaskets, setting it in his lap and glancing at Husky after he was done. Husky was staring at him, his own hands dry and with about one third of his pile left beside him. His orange eyes burned in the dark night, and Seto felt his mind fog over slightly.

Husky moved forward, grabbing Seto's wrist before he pulled him into a deep kiss. Seto closed his eyes halfway, his cheeks turning a bright red as he shuddered. "Mhm..." He muttered softly, and he briefly thought about how his discussion with Husky could wait.

He closed his eyes as Husky pushed him onto his back in the grass, the two ignoring the chill of the night as Husky straddled him. He grabbed his wrists, pinning them above his head as he broke the kiss. Their eyes briefly met, Seto panting heavily while Husky didn't seem affected. Husky leaned down and began to kiss and bite on his neck, closing his eyes as he heard Seto let out a shaky gasp of pleasure beside his ear. Something rumbled in his throat, and he reached down toward Seto's pants.

Then Seto's small hand grabbed his wrist in an iron tight grip.

Husky jumped in surprise, his eyes widening slightly. Well. He hadn't expected that. He pulled back, looking down at Seto in confusion, and then he stopped.

Seto was glaring up at him, his eyes slightly bloodshot and rimmed with red as tears glowed in them. Husky stared at him in shock, wondering what he could have done wrong.

"What did you call me?" Seto's voice was low, shaky, heartbroken and furious at the same time. Husky stared down at him, and wondered what his last word had been.

"... Seto?"

"Before that, you asshole!"

Husky's eyes widened. "... Uh..." He thought about what he had rumbled, and, wanting to calm Seto down, he spoke it without realizing what was wrong a second too late.

"Annie."

Seto's eyes flashed, and Husky was slapped.

His head moved from the force, and he stared forward with wide eyes before Seto suddenly shoved Husky away from him. Seto rolled on top of him, smacking his chest roughly as his tears streaked down his cheeks. "YOU BASTARD!" He screamed at the shocked mudkip, before he stood and began to stomp off. Husky, watching him go, was jolted from his daze and he scrambled up, running after him. He reached for his wrist.

"Seto, wait-!"

Seto whipped around and smacked his hand away from him roughly. "DON'T! DON'T YOU DARE TRY TO SMOOTH TALK YOUR WAY OUT OF THIS!" The sorcerer screamed, and a few recruits sat up in their bedrolls and looked over in shock. Some guards ran over and stopped at what they saw. Sky stepped out of his tent, pulling on his shirt as he watched what was going on, an unreadable expression on his face.

"S-Seto, please, I didn't mean-!"

"I DON'T CARE IF YOU DIDN'T MEAN IT! YOU STILL SAID IT!" Seto screamed at him. "I DON'T CARE WHO THE HELL ANNIE IS, BUT I WON'T BE SOME REPLACEMENT!" He shoved Husky roughly, more tears streaking down his cheeks. "I HATE YOU! HOW COULD YOU TOY WITH ME LIKE THIS?! I GAVE YOU SOMETHING SPECIAL THAT I CAN NEVER GET BACK!"

One of the guards gasped beside another, and his friend looked at him. "What? What'd he give him?!" The guard looked at his friend with disbelief, before he leaned forward and whispered into his ear. His friend's eyes widened and his jaw dropped, nearly dropping his spear.

Husky stared at Seto with wide eyes. He had seen Seto mad, but... Never so... Hurt.

Seto bowed his head, shaking. "I don't know who this girl is." He repeated, his voice strained with tears that just kept falling. "I don't know how I remind you of her..." He glared up at Husky, before he punched him roughly. "BUT I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!"

Husky fell to the ground, watching as Seto turned and raced into his tent, more sobs coming from the sorcerer before he disappeared into the shelter. As he watched him flee, he imagined a girl who had the same shade of dark brown hair like him, with a purple aura around herself. She had the same magic that Seto had.

And it was then Husky realized that he had been seeing Seto as his dead wife, and he had never felt so horrible in his entire life.
