When Sky was found, he was laying just outside of the clearing with a dark green cloaked wrapped around him. The snake was curled up on his chest and the wolf paced back and forth beside him, alert and tense at his new surroundings. He had stayed in those forests all of his life, and he felt vulnerable being in a new place. He was just here to make sure Sky survived until some recruits found him, and then he would be gone. He would leave Taylor behind because the snake wanted to continue to protect Sky, as he was supposed to.

It wasn't until the sun was rising that some recruits patrolling found them.

The snake slithered off as the recruits raced over, shouting, one of them kneeling down beside him and checking his pulse. "He's alive!" He shouted to his friends, who all cheered happily in relief. They had believed their Commander was dead for nearly two weeks now. To have him here, breathing and alive, was like a dream come true to all of them.

One of them, he was stronger than the rest because Jerome was training him to be a Tank, picked Sky up and they ran to the clearing. The snake wrapped around the wolf's neck and looked at him, a slight plead in his eyes. The wolf stared at it, before it sighed, turning his head as he rolled his eyes. The snake shifted into a comfortable position as the wolf trotted after the group of recruits. When they came to the clearing, Seto had Sky in the medic tent, and was waiting for him to wake. It didn't take long.

When Sky opened his eyes, he turned his head and saw Seto. His eyes softened, and Seto blinked as he noticed the male had a new light in them. The Commander reached out and grabbed his hand, and whispered; "I saw your mother."

No one questioned why Seto was crying when the other members of TC ran into the tent to see if Sky was actually here and alive. Husky wrapped his arms around the shaking sorcerer to comfort him, and he watched as Deadlox hugged Sky tightly, shouting insults to try and hide the fact he was crying.

But, no one cared, and Sky didn't mind it. He was back at the base, surrounded by his friends who he was slowly calling brothers, with recruits outside the tent celebrating the fact that he was still alive. That's all he had wanted since he had woken up.
