Chapter 1
Four POV
I wake up and take a shower, when I get out I remember summer is over it's the first day back. Junior year, fun.... I look at the clock it's 6:00 and school starts at 7:30.
I walk downstairs and make my dad breakfast. Then I clean and do some laundry.
It's 6:30 so I decide to get out of my comfortable clothes and into school clothes.
I put on a black tee and dark blue denim jeans, and some black sneakers. I get my black backpack filled with my supplies. I head out the door before he wakes up.
I walk to the bus stop. As I wait I draw a little bit. But then I see two people coming, thinking it was Zeke I hide it quickly.
When they get closer I can tell it's not Zeke there is a boy who is an inch or two shorter than me with brownish blonde hair, and it's wearing a blue polo shirt with khakis Erudite.
But then I see her, she has blonde hair and she wears a dark purple tank top, and a cropped leather jacket over it.
She has on dark blue ripped skinny jeans and black combat boots that go about half way to her knee, Dauntless yes! We might have a few classes together!
She and the boy reach the bus stop, and I quickly pretend like I didn't see them at all.
She sits down on the bench next to me. I turn over and look into her eyes they are a stunning blue, almost grey, she is beautiful. I want to get to know her, but will she want to be my friend? I realize I had be staring a second to long.
So I cover it up the best I could
"Hi, I haven't seen you before, you new?" I ask the girl not really caring about the boy.
"Yeah I'm the new girl." She says
"What year?" I ask hoping and praying she says 11th
"I'm a junior." She states, yes! Same grade, same faction.
"Cool me to, I'm four." I say
"Interesting name, I'm Tris and this is my brother Caleb." She says and points to the boy with his head in a book
"Erudite." I say
"Extremely." tris says in an annoyed tone and roles her eyes
"Dauntless?" I say pointing to her
"Noooooo, Amity." She says her voice filled with sarcasm. I laugh and so does she.
"Yes of corse I'm dauntless, Eruidte and Abnegation are boring, Candor and Amity are annoying, so dauntless it was." She says
"I think we're gonna get along." I say and we laugh.
The blue bus pulls up and Caleb gets on it. The dauntless bus comes last, the abnegation Walk, Erudite get there first, and Amity is in the middle of it all.
"So what kind of sports do they have at the school?" She asks
"Almost any sport you can think of except lacrosse, golf, Crockett, and basically any other boring sport you can think of they probably don't have." I say
She nods. " awesome."
We sit in silence for a minute or two.
"So where you from?" I ask randomly
"Just on the other side of Chicago, I used to go to Insurgent High." She says
"We are so kicking their butts at next months football game." I laugh
"They say the same about you guys." She says
"Whose side you On?" I ask
"The fun one." She says and stands up because the black bus has pulled up.
We sit next to each other but don't really talk the whole way there.
