Nightmares Come True

Chapter 4 - Danger Is Coming...

Previously on NCT: Terina woke up in hospital and couldn't remember anything of her past. Daisy was sitting beside her and told her what happened. Terina was confused and asked many questions. Daisy kept crying time and time again, only to explain what happened and who she was. Let's continue on with the story...

( Daisy's P.O.V )

It's been a week since the incident, and Terina is still trying to get comfortable in her home. She said her head hurt after seeing an image. She said that she saw herself building machines and everyone was happy. Sounds like a flashback to me. I had to live with her after everything that happened. She freaked out a bit with the idea at first, but got used to it... Especially with me doing all the housework. I told her every morning I had to go home and fix things around the house, I kept saying I would only be a hour. She always smiled and said goodbye.

This morning I had to leave the house for shopping, I yelled Terina's name and she came running downstairs. She ran up to me and smiled.

"Terina, I have to do shopping today, so it'll take longer than a hour, unless there aren't many people, are you gonna be alright?" I asked.

She thought about it and grinned. "I'll be fine..."

I gave a grin and grabbed my things. She ran up behind me and asked something I thought I would never usually hear...

"Daisy, do you want me to do the house chores while you're gone?" I turned around with a big grin on my lips. I ran up to her and squeezed her. Her face went red and I let go of her.

I ran to my bag, opened the door and said goodbye with a hug. I had never felt so happy to not do housework...

( Terina's P.O.V )

Daisy got in her car, gave me a smile and wave and drove off. I've always liked her. She may be my friend, but I've though and treated her as a mother figure. I am still trying to recover my memory, but Daisy says I shouldn't because my head will only hurt more.

I started on the housework and finished within an hour. I heard a song blasting from my phone, it was 'Bring Her Down' from the TV show Grojband. I've always loved their music, it may have started a few weeks ago, but I still love it. I grabbed my phone and saw a text from Daisy. Be back in 20 minutes, she wrote. I smiled and went to watch the TV, but as soon as I sat down I heard the doorbell ring.

I went over to the door and looked through the door hole. I didn't see anyone there, but I ignored it.

"Probably just some little kids playing games with me..." I thought. I heard the doorbell again and quickly opened the door to find 2 men holding guns at my head. I held in my scream and gulped instead. One had a shotgun while the other had an M16.

"Hello there, we have come to tell you that we need your services for an experiment. So we can either do this the easy way, or the hard way." Once he finished that sentence he grabbed out a bomb. I looked back at my phone and back to them.

"Could you...excuse me for a moment?" I tried to quickly walk to my phone, until I heard a bang. I shot around to see the gun pointing at me. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the TV had been destroyed.

"Not until, you tell us first." The first man said firmly. I walked back to them and quietly spoke up.

"I need to tell...my mother that I'm going out with some friends, that's all." I said.

The men looked at each other and I took my chance to run for my phone.

*BANG!*

I felt pain in my shoulder and looked over to see it a bullet had gone through me. Blood was flowing out fast and I fell to the floor in pain. I cried from the impact and held my shoulder gently. I scrambled over to my phone, only to find it crushed. I looked back and saw the men coming towards me with their guns. The last thing I could see was them carrying me to their car until I fainted.

( Daisy's P.O.V )

I was on my way home and heard my ringtone go off.

God did I love Grojband as much as Terina. My ringtone was 'Laney's Solo'. I pulled over and grabbed my phone to see a text from an unknown number.

Dear Mrs Daisy,

We have taken your "daughter" for a few hours for an experiment with the government. She will be harmed in the process and may die from the impact. If you decide to come and find us, we will murder both of you. If you come with anyone else such as the police or FBI, nobody will notice you're gone...

I stared at the text for what seemed like ages. I felt warm liquid going down my cheeks. I couldn't bare to lose her again. I started the car and cut into the lane. I drove as quick as I could, I was just praying that I wouldn't be caught by police.

I saw my house come into view.

I parked in the driveway and fell out of my car. I ran to the door and unlocked it. I went inside and screamed for Terina, but I got no reply. I ran all around the house to find her nowhere. I went back into the living room and sat on the couch. I saw something out of the corner of my eye to see the TV and her phone damaged. Her phone was crushed and I went over to the TV.

"Looks like they had weapons with them..." I thought.

I scrambled back to the couch and picked up the photo next to it. It was a photo of me, Terina and her family at a picnic.

"I remember this, we all had so much fun..." I smiled at myself. I felt more tears falling down my face. I kept sobbing and crying for longer than I expected.

How was I suppose to help her now?

I just made everything worse...

Unless...no I couldn't, they would still kill me if I brought help.

What am I going to do? I can't just walk in there and steal her from them...

Or, can I?
