Chapter 11

Help!

( Daisy's P.O.V )

I pulled the trigger multiple times and kept reloading.

I looked at Terina a few times and I could see the anger in her eyes.

I kept shooting and cutting through anyone who stood in my way. Terina and I headed towards the blazing city, running at full speed. I felt the sweat fly across my forehead.

We saw the blazing city come into view and sprinted. I felt some tears coming to my eyes, knowing that I might die soon.

I slowed down right before we were about to enter the city. Terina stopped and looked back at me with a dark stare.

She walked up to me and made me look into her eyes.

I gave her a glare and stepped away from her. She came close to my ear and said,

"You don't have to go in, I can."

My eyes widened and already saw Terina walking towards the city. I grabbed my gun and a bullet flew right past her. She turned back to me as I was reloading and repairing my gear.

I walked up to her and smiled.

"If I'm gonna die, I don't wanna die alone, not without you.."

She stared at me and smiled. She grabbed my hand and we ran into the fiery city.

I felt the smoke go into my nose. I could smell the burn and tears came to my eyes, due to the smoke inhalation.

We kept running until we saw a building, that wasn't on fire?

I questioned the building and kept running with Terina.

This was gonna be...scary.

( Terina's. P.O.V )

Daisy gave me a confused look as we were running to the building. I was also wondering why that wasn't on fire too.

We ran up to the door and slowed down.

I repaired my weapons as we were about to go in, I felt arms quickly going around me.

"Listen, if we're about to die, I want at least a last hug before we do die."

I smiled and hugged Daisy.

It's true, if we are going to die, it's worth to have a last hug.

We let go and kicked the door down.

I ran up with my gun up, while Daisy came in after me.

I saw a spotlight shining down on a chair.

"Well, this looks suspicious..." I thought.

I carefully walked towards the chair and held my gun closer to me. I quietly pulled out my knife ready for an attack.

I heard footsteps behind me, and Daisy was over near the door.

I closed my eyes and shot behind me.

"FUUCK!"

I turned around to see a lady, a knife was on the ground. I saw the blood flow out of her chest.
