You had the ability to fly,
All you needed was a little push.
I know you're thinking its too high,
Babe, just aim for the bush.
Either way, not every landing is soft,
Just feel the steady air under your wings,
Maybe you'll end up at a croft,
Or land among some queen and kings.
Maybe you'll be crowned too,
For there is no one more royal than you,
You're a precious gem just so you know,
Please keep your head up even if you're feeling low.
Don't forget you're a paper airplane.
I know its not as good as a real one,
And you'll get soaked in the rain,
But you're not even close to being done.
For you are a paper airplane,
Made with love and care,
And with a little push,
You'll be soaring to see a better view.
For you always had it inside of you.
