Littles have feelings too, and these feelings can change quickly. As a caregiver, you need to be able to identify what they're feeling and what to do about it. Here is a small list of emotions and signs that a little might be feeling these ways.
If they are very sad they may want to sleep, even if they aren't tired.
If they are happy, they may want to play with their toys or they'll be very energetic.
If they are tired, you can see the symptoms in Chapter 2: Sleep.
If they need a diaper change they may pester you about it or they'll fiddle with the diaper.
If they feel alone they may try to hide or seclude themselves.
If they are feeling jealous, they may try to get things from you, like any food you might be eating or your phone, etc.But what can you do? You can't just take the same course of action each time, it doesn't work that way. If it did the world wild be in ruin. So what can you do if you see a little acting these ways?
If they feel sad, try talking to them and asking if they're okay.
If they're very happy you should play with them and have fun with them.
If they look tired then send them to bed, a little needs their sleep.
If they seem angry then punish them if they do something naughty or get them to talk to you about why they're angry.
If they feel alone, talk to them and validate them (Parking? NO!)
If they need a diaper change, well, that one's obvious.
If they feel jealous then try to avoid big things that they might want..Always make sure you can identify how a little is feeling and if they're feeling bad.
