Did he just call me Monica?

Shit. How did he find out?

"Harry I..l can explain..." I know there is only one way he could have known.Nick. That's how Nick probably told him. Wait. How does he know Nick?

"I don't need an explanation. Just get the fuck out." his voice is shaking and I'm on the verge of breaking.

"Who told you?" I questioned letting a tear slip. I hope that shows my vulnerability.

"It doesn't matter.."

"well.."my voice is low.I don't trust it enough to speak up.

"Well what..?"

"Well whatever they told you was a lie!" My voice is high but shakey.

"Which part? Huh? The fact that you used to work for the "A"HA or the part that you lied to me about who you are?" He sounds..hurt?but he's knocking over a vase.

"No Harry,they really are lying because u didn't work for them. I refused their offer."

"What?" he's confused,I can tell by his voice.I nodded.Thank God he is finally listening.

"I was walking home alone one day and passed an alley.I saw a movement and backed up.They..They had guns pointing to a guy who looked really innocent. I think one of thems name was Nick..He looked at me and I started to run.He caught me and...th..they held me captive,"a tear rolls down my cheek,"They found out personal information about me even the things I didn't tell them like my name and how old I was...they found out where I lived,they even found out who my parents were a..and where they lived,"I am now full blown crying,"t..they killed my parents. I went home after class one day and the house was quiet. I called my parents a few times but no one answered. I walked up the steps to their room but there was blood everywhere on the walls and ceiling looking for that but the bodies weren't."

"There was a trail of blood going to the bathroom. I found parts of my parents bodies under the water that filled the tub." I couldn't continue,it still hurts too much.

"what happened after?"

"Nick..he..after a few days of holding me captive,he asked me to join his association because he thought I knew something."

"did you?" I shook my head no, and swallowed hard.

" No...I was really confused. All I knew was that I didn't want him to find me. He eventually did though."

"What did they do? Did...Did they hurt you?" He stutters. I nod slowly.

" They...They beat me.. I bled-for days- I couldn't... I couldn't.. I couldn't sleep or eat... I stayed up all night thinking about how.. how I'm going to escape and start a new life.."

"That's Why you changed your name?" I nod

" I changed my whole identity. I didn't want anything to do with him anymore, I never did." He slightly nods and stands up from the couch.

" I can't believe this"

"What?"

"Nick sent me to kill you"; His voice is shakey.

"are you?" I'm really scared now.

"Am I what?"

"Are you-you know-going to kill me?"

"No,"he shakes his head furiously, "no, of course not, c'mere"

He opens his arms and I don't hesitate for a second to walk right into them.

"I think...I think you should stay out of sight fir a while." He says resting his chin on the top of my head.I nod and take a deep breath. He smells like Calvin Klein after-shave and mint and I love it.

"I love you.."

What?

What did I just say? Ugh I want to run out of the room and jump of a cliff and die.

"I love you...I've been loving you." My heart flutters as I repeat his words over and over again. I feel like if I died right now, I wouldn't care because my biggest dream just happened.

"Really?" I ask pulling away but only enough for his hands to stay on my waist.

"Mmhm" He simply hums and I stand on my tip toes to kiss him on the nose.His smile widens and he kisses me.

A real kiss.

Our lips move in sync as his tongue brushes my bottom lip. Even though this is my first kiss I allow him entrance. His tongue explores my mouth. I feel a spark im this kiss-no-fireworks. I can't help but smile through it.
