Haeri woke up and washed her face.

It's been 15 days since she was here.

It was refreshing, actually. Like an unplanned holiday.

"Hello?" She said out loud.

The house was empty.

She was surprised. Yoongi never left her alone in the house. Not while she was conscious.

She walked downstairs to the kitchen, and saw her handbag on the table.

She took out her phone, and as she expected it was dead.

Hungry for food, she opened the fridge. There were some eggs, celery and carrots. Not exactly appetizing.

She walked past the front door and realised it was open.

Immediately she locked it from the inside and began to wonder if something happened to Yoongi. He didn't look like someone careless enough to leave the door unlocked.

Running upstairs, she opened every door in search of a phone, but then realised she didn't have his number.

She opened one of the rooms and saw a bunch of fancy equipment, like microphones and instruments.

He said he was a singer.

She flipped through a book filled with scores and looked at the lyrics.

Each line was deep and filled with meaning. She felt the exact pain that he felt. When everyone doubted her abilities.

Unknowingly, she cried. Reading his lyrics were like reading his diary, his life story but in words.

"What are you doing?"

"Oh my god Yoongi you're back.... i thought something happened to you but i didn't have your number... " Haeri replied through muffled sobs.

Yoongi threw the hot buns he bought onto the bed and stared at Haeri.

"You read my lyrics...?"

"I'm sorry... i didn't mean to but ... i'm so sorry......" she cried harder.

"It's okay." Yoongi said as he wrapped his arms around Haeri awkwardly. "It's okay..." he patted her back.

"I'm sorry......."

Soon, she fell asleep in Yoongi's arms. With tears still running down her cheeks.

Yoongi returned to his studio after he left Haeri on the bed.

He was angry at first, when he found out she was reading his lyrics without permission, but he felt his heart ache when he saw her crying.

Was it because she could relate? He would only find out when she woke up.

He placed the buns which already gone cold into the microwave, and realised that Haeri didn't leave.

He expected her to leave when he left the door open, but she didn't.

She could've run away.
But she stayed.

"You're awake."

Haeri felt relieved to hear his voice, although she didn't know why.

She remembered herself crying. While reading his lyrics.

"Yeah I'm awake." She mumbled softly, rubbing her slightly puffed eyes.

"Hot buns?" Yoongi offered.

Haeri got into an upright position and grabbed one.

"About just now... i'm really sorry." She said.

"It's fine, at least someone appreciates my music."

Suddenly he got up and walked towards her. He sat down on the bed next to her and looked into her eyes.

"Have you learned how to read scores before?"

She pondered for a moment, before answering, "I learned piano when i was a kid, but my memory's a bit dull now."

Yoongi nodded before walking out of the room.

After filling her stomach with three buns, Haeri went downstairs to throw the garbage.

She heard faint music coming from one of the rooms as she passed by, and she couldn't help but peek inside.

Yoongi was there, playing the piano, with a soft expression on his face.

His eyes were closed and his lips partly open, while his head bobbed slowly to the soothing music.

Haeri couldn't help but admire his face from behind the door, until he stopped playing and said, "Are you done staring?"

She stepped into the room nervously and laughed a little.

"I wasn't staring."

"Can you sing?"

"What?"

"Can you sing?"

Yoongi flipped through some sheets and took one out.

'SO FAR AWAY' was written in caps at the top of the page.

"Composed and written by Agust D." Haeri read aloud.

"What does the D stand for?" She asked.

"I'm from Daegu."

"I see. You want me to sing this?"

"Yeah, that's the reason i kidnapped you anyway." He replied, playing a demo version.

Haeri looked at him for a moment. "Why?"

"Why what?" Yoongi asked, his eyes fixed on his music sheets.

"Why would you go through the trouble to kidnap someone just to let them sing your songs?"

He paused the demo, and the room became so silent you could hear a pin drop.

"I love my music. But not everyone does. I just wanted my music to live its worth." He said.

'Give me some drinks,
I want to get drunk today.'

'I try to vent out my anger but the only one here with me is me.'

'Every morning it's terrifying to open my eyes, to breathe.'

"They've got a lot of meaning in them." She commented.

"Can you relate?" He smiled.

"Of course... I feel as if my mind has been written out on paper."

After a few hours in the studio, the two took a break.

"Haeri." Yoongi said softly.

She glanced up at the mention of her name.

"Thanks for staying."
