Time flew past quickly.

During these 20 days not once had Haeri stepped out of the house.

Occasionally Yoongi would, although she never asked what he was up to.

She started helping him out with the chores and meals, and she sang for him when he asked to.

Also, she started to grow feelings for Yoongi.

He went out again that morning, and Haeri made eggs for breakfast.

While frying them, she felt a presence behind her back.

Turning around, she came to face Yoongi who rested his head on her shoulder to see what she was doing.

"Smells good."

Haeri's face turned to a shade of dark red.

Obviously Yoongi saw that, and he added, "I was talking about the eggs."

"I-I knew that," she said, serving the eggs on a plate.

"Where do you go every morning anyway?" She asked as she chewed on her sunny side up.

"I drive a taxi." He answered. "Where do you think I get my money from?"

Awkward silence continued until Yoongi turned on the tv.

He didn't have many channels, they were mainly news channels.

"The whereabouts of Son-sshi who was reported missing by her neighbour two days ago is still unknown. According to CCTVs, she was last seen in getting into a taxi before disappearing."

Photos of Haeri flashed onto the screen.

"The girl was reported missing after her neighbours noticed she hadn't come home in weeks and grew worried. A colleague revealed pictures of her after seeing the missing person's report on tv last night."

The scene then turned to an interview with the colleague, with her face blurred out.

Haeri took only two seconds to realise it was Yoonji.

"She...she was going to become a lawyer....but they didn't take her in... I feel so bad now because they gave me her spot...." Yoonji whimpered.

Before Yoongi said anything, Haeri turned off the tv.

"They're coming for you..." he whispered softly.

"What? No, I'm not leaving. There's no way I'd return to that shitty life anymore."

She quickly shoved the rest of her eggs down her throat and washed the dishes.

She felt Yoongi's eyes on her back the entire time.

Wiping her hands on a towel, she asked, "What happened to the other girl you kidnapped? Did you kill her first because they were looking for her?"

Yoongi turned Haeri around aggresively with both hands on her shoulders.

His stare became cold as he looked into her eyes. For once she felt afraid. That he might not be the good guy as she thought.

"She killed herself. I didn't touch her."

His grip grew tighter when he spoke and Haeri winced in pain.

Seeing her hurt expression, he loosened his grip on her.

"I'm s-sorry..." he murmured.

Tears started flowing from her eyes and Yoongi felt his as if he was stabbed in the heart.

After 20 days with her, he started to like her.

She was indifferent, yet kind and understanding.

She didn't judge a book by its cover.

Yoongi never expected himself to like her. He hadn't had a decent relationship for years.

At that moment, he wanted to be hers. For her to lean on, for her to forget all her problems.

His raised his hand to wipe her tears, and saw Haeri smile a little.

"I knew you weren't that kind of person."

He smiled slightly before leaning closer to her, with both hands on her cheeks now.

But before his lips touched hers, she wrapped her arms around him and pressed her body against his for a hug.

Yoongi was a little disappointed but he couldn't hide his happy smile.

"You're mine now. You can't leave me."

With her face buried deeply in his chest, she replied.

"I won't."
