Sad Song (Lauren/You)

Ch. 1 ~A Sky Full of Stars~

"Good night Miami! " The girls scream in harmony.

The girls of Fifth Harmony smiles one last time as a goodbye to there thousands of roaring fans before holding hands and bowing. They made there way out of the stage still hearing the loud chants of ' I love you ' or 'please come back ' making Lauren smile.

After all this time it still made Lauren grateful for the chance to live her dreams. Not just anyone would take a huge risk to go on national television and sing their heart out for the whole world to see and not knowing you would go on and succeed, but she did and she is grateful for it.

"Lauser come on! I'm hungry and your daydreaming. "

Lauren just realize that she stopped walking and stood in the middle of the way of several people preparing to close the arena. She apologizes before catching up to an impatient Dinah while the rest was on their phones.

"Let's go, " Lauren said.

They quickly entered there dressing room and change out of their costumes and onto casual clothes. Lauren heard a phone ring but she ignored it knowing by the ringtone it was Ally's. She buttoned up her jeans before throwing on a 1975 band shirt. She grab her jacket from her bag and put it on knowing how cold Miami is when it's nighttime.

"Girls! Demi invited us for dinner at her place, do you wanna go? " Ally ask just as Lauren is putting on her shoes.

"Sure, I would love to see Demi again! " Normani said, grabbing her purse from a nearby table.

"As long as there is food, " Dinah said, laying down on the couch patting her grumbling stomach.

While the girls was chatting Lauren is staring at her phone intently.

"Hey Laur, do you wanna go? " Lauren barely turned around at Ally's voice.

"Sure Ally. " Lauren said absentmindedly too focused on her phone.

Even when her attention is on the phone she heard Ally's sigh in disappointment as she announced that they were going. Lauren couldn't blame her seeing as she had been glued to her phone 24/7 only putting it down when performing and charging it. But she has a good reason.

Her boyfriend didn't reply to her messages for a week.

All night since last week all she thought before going to sleep and waking up is him. It's like her mind can't stop thinking about him especially now that she's worried. She contacted his parents and friends and all they said is that his busy. But it still didn't stop her thoughts of worry.

"C'mon Laur, we're going. " She look up and saw Normani smiling and waiting for her.

She look back at her phone and sigh when she still didn't see a reply. Typing a quick text she sent it and close her phone. She stood up and slide her phone on her pocket.

"Are you okay Lo? " Normani ask, catching the wistful look on her friend's face.

Lauren nod not wanting her friend to worry. "Yeah, of course. "
They caught up with Ally and Dinah who is chatting with one another.

"I'm so hungry Ally! " A loud grumbling sound echoed around the walls.

Ally sigh, "Our driver is coming Dinah. Just wait for a few more minutes. "

"D, your always hungry. "

"Shut up Mani! I don't complain when I see you stuff your face with chicken wings. "

Lauren could hear Dinah complaining about being hungry and Normani teasing her for always being hungry while Ally try to keep the peace. On most days Lauren would join in the laughs and teasing but all she could think about is her boyfriend.
