Chapter 5: Double Date

Annabeth's Pov
          Yay! Percy asked me to go on a date with him, a double date, with Jason and Piper. We were going to see a movie and after, eat at a restaurant. I quickly opened my closet. He was going to be at my cabin at 6:00 P.M., and it's already 5:30! I needed help. I jogged to the Aphrodite cabin to see what Piper was going to wear. I knocked on the door.
          "Yes? Oh, Annabeth!" said Piper.
          "Hey, I need a little help. What are you going to wear for our double date tonight?" Piper pulled me into the cabin. She reached into her closet and got out dark blue jean shorts, a blue and white blouse that falls over the right side, and a black beanie. Piper hurried to the other end of the room and got her tan heeled boots.
          "What'cha think?" she asked. 
          "It's really nice," I complimented. Piper smiled.
          "Thanks. Now, time to get your outfit." After a few minutes, I had an awesome outfit! I wore black shorts, a grey and white blouse that falls over my left side, and a silver owl clip in my hair. I also had on short cut blue boots. Piper added a bit of blue eyeshadow to match my shoes, while she had on light blue eyeshadow with a hint of white. Piper's been getting a bit more used to makeup, ever one of her half sister showed her how to use each one. 
          I looked myself over, again. I looked pretty good! I checked the time. 5:42. Good, we finished in a pretty quick time. I hugged Piper.
          "Thanks again for the outfit. I'll go back to my cabin and wait until Percy picks me up. Bye! See you later!" I said. Piper nodded.
          "Alright. Bye!" she said, smiling. I walked back to my cabin and sat on my bed. I got out a book that I just started reading this morning. Rachel gave it to me; it was a mortal's book called The Hunger Games. "The Training Center has a tower designed exclusively for the tributes and their teams..."

Percy's Pov
          "Jason, are you done?" I asked as Jason rummaged through his closet. He already showed me what he was wearing; a light purple tee with a dark blue hoodie, dark denim skinny jeans, and a pair of grey Nike high tops. Now, he was trying to help me pick what to wear, and it was already 5:45! "Dude, it's already 5:45, we need to hurry up before-" I couldn't finish because Jason handed me a set of clothes. I tried it on and I looked pretty good, if I do say so myself. I wore a dark grey hoodie over a white tee, dark blue skinny jeans, and a pair of purple Reebok high tops. "Thanks, man! I look pretty good."
          "No problem, bro," said Jason as he patted my back. I looked back at the clock and saw that it was already 5:58!
          "We got to go, Jason," I said. He looked to the clock and nodded. We headed out the door to pick up our dates.

Annabeth's Pov
          "I stop him, suddenly calm. 'No, Peeta, she's your kill, not Cato's.' 'What? I haven't seen her since the first day,' he says.'How could I have killed her? 'In answer, I hold out the berries." It had been probably 20 minutes since I looked up from my book when there was a knock on the door. I put the book down and walked to the door, but first I looked myself over in the mirror. I look pretty good, I thought to myself. I opened the door to find Percy, except he looked nothing like himself. He looked. . . better. Percy wore a dark grey hoodie over a white tee, dark blue skinny jeans, and a pair of purple Reebok high tops.
          "Whoa," gasped Percy. "You look amazing, Wise Girl." I blushed.
          "I could say the same for you, Seaweed Brain," I said, smiling.
          "Shall we?" asked Percy, holding out his arm. I put my hand through and giggled.
          "We shall," I said happily. We met up with Jason and Piper at the top of Half-Blood Hill.
          "Hey guys," greeted Jason. "Ready to go?" We all nodded and got into Paul's car; Percy driving, me in the front, and Jason and Piper in the back. We drove to a Chinese restaurant that Piper mentioned. We walked in with our dates and Jason got us a table for four. Percy ordered the food while Piper and I talked about a band called One Direction.
          "Drew keeps talking about them in our cabin. It's so annoying!" complained Piper. I laughed. "But I heard one of their songs, I Want, and it's pretty good." I nodded.
          "Yeah, I heard one of their songs, What Makes You Beautiful, on the radio when Percy and I were driving to Central Park yesterday," I said. The waiters brought the food to our table and we began to eat. At first, everyone ate silently. But of course, Percy breaks the ice.
          "Hey Jason, did you see the NBA game last night?" asked Percy. Jason nodded.
          "Yeah. It was awesome!" exclaimed Jason. They went on and on about the players, making fun of teams, things like that. I rolled  my eyes. Piper stifled a laugh.
          "Boys just have their moments, Annabeth. In a few minutes, they'll shut up," said Piper glaring at Jason. Jason shut his mouth.
          "Sorry, Piper," he said in a small voice. I smiled.
          "Finally," I mumbled under my breath. Percy stared at me oddly.
          "Finally?" questioned Percy. "We weren't the only ones jabbering about something." I rolled my eyes and Percy stuck his tongue out. I couldn't help but giggle. Percy chuckled. "I love you, Wise Girl."
          "I love you, too, Seaweed Brain," I said, kissing his cheek, causing him to turn bright red. Across the table, Jason was making gag noises.
          "Blech! Too much lovey stuff," said Jason, pretending to gag. Piper stifled a laugh.
          "Oh, c'mon, Jason. Don't you and Piper have your 'moments' too?" I questioned in a sweet voice. Piper and Jason both turned as red as a cherry. I laughed, along with everyone else.
          "Jason, don't do that," said Piper. Jason was still pretending to gag at Percy and I. Piper rolled her eyes at her obnoxious boyfriend and kissed him on the lips, causing Jason to finally stop and turn even more red, if that were possible. Piper leaned back with a smile on her face.
          "I'll stop now," said Jason, looking as if in a trance. Piper giggled. I turned to face Percy.
          "Aren't they cute?" I whispered to him.
          "Yeah. But not as cute as us," whispered Percy back. I smiled and leaned in. I felt our lips touch as sparks flew around wildly. This was the feeling of kissing the one you love dearly. This is how it feels when I'm with my Seaweed Brain.

Percabeth is so cute! <33 same with Jiper, or Jasper, whateva :) Any suggestions?? I'll try to update at least every week from now until the end of summer vacation :)) Please tell me watcha think!!! :DDD
