Chapter Thirty

*May 2021*

"I'm feeling very nauseous" I said to Georgie while she was changing her beautiful 8months daughter, Alisha.
"Did you take the test like I told you? This has been going on for what? Three days?"
"I did. It's in the bathroom. I'm afraid to look at it. You go, I'll watch Alisha."
She left puffing and came back two minutes later with tears in her eyes.
"Oh, my God Natsie! Look!" I looked at it. Two lines.
I was pregnant.
I immediately started crying.
"G, oh God. Can you believe it?"
"My God, we're both crying now" we were a mess, crying and laughing all together, while Alisha was very smiley like she knew what was going on.
"I'm so happy" I kept saying while rubbing my belly.
I love you so much, already.

Three days had passed since my doctor appointment. It was time to tell Tom everything.
Natalia, stop crying for God's sake.
I asked Emeraude, who obviously knew already, a cute way to tell Tom about it. She came up with a very cute idea.
"Nat! I'm home, there's something on the-" I guess he found the note that I left on the kitchen counter. I walked in and immediately went to hug him.
"Are-are you serious? Oh God" he kissed the side of my head making me cry too, then he started spinning us around.
"Yeah, I found out a few days ago. I waited the doctor's appointment to say anything."
He was still reading the note and looking at the positive test, still crying.
In a week this house had seen a lot of tears.
Happy tears though.
