"You hafta come - it's a party essentially for newcomers... freshman... for us..." Nik had all but demanded. "... If we don't make at least an appearance that gives us a slippery sliding slop down the 'black-listed'... banned from all the great shenanigans..." She stuttered off, taking a moment to ponder her own fearful inducing fears; a few seconds had only passed when her eyes returned, bulging with another assumed horrified out-come from our potential bad start to college life.
"I'll be - I mean, we - will be down casted as like that unattractive floozy boning on the street corner every Friday night... to which I consecutively mistake as one of the revenants, while doing a roundabout of the school grounds!"
"Is it possible the problem you have is that you are completely afraid to be included as one of the 'out crowd?'" I needed.
"Don't even joke about that!" Shuttering as if a snowy fueled breeze had kissed her perfected bronzed skin (among other things she liked to keep hidden as fake) within the apartment which was having its' own typical temperature flucuation - meaning we were reaching boiler room.
I caved to her demands as I took a huge huff to which I could have sworn steam was swarming off my breath, "...let's just get this over with.""Are you totally sure?" She murmured.
"If you ask again, then the answer will be, absolutely: not a chance." I jested.
The piercing hyena squeal confirmed I was doomed; along with a ringing developing in my right ear; hopeful, there is good cake involved to make for my partial deafness, otherwise this is all just completely moot.
