Anakin's P.O.V.

"Where are we going?" Khaylia asks her Father. Anakin sighs, he never wanted this day to come.

"We're going to the Jedi Temple baby girl." I say in a calm voice trying to comfort her. I'm going to miss her. Her curly blonde hair and blue eyes. Padmè was right, she looks a lot like myself. Not to mention that she even acts like myself too. Her short temper and frustration when she doesn't get something correct or if anything doesn't go her way. But her kindness towards others and they way she talks formally, she definitely got that from her mother, my angle. We begin to approach the entrance of the temple. I sigh, I am not ready for this.

"Alright Khaylia, before we walk any further. Here is rule one, always walk slowly in the temple halls, it shows respect. Only run if there is a emergency. Understood?" He tells Khaylia.

"Yes father." She reply's. She knows what when to act formal and when not to, one of the many reasons why I love her. We walk down that halls of the temple, other Jedi looking at me wondering why I have a small child with me.

"Anakin Skywalker. I hear a someone say behind me. I turn around to face her.

"Greetings Lara." I say to my old friend. "Long time no see."

"It has been a long time, and who is this?" She says, kneeling down to Khaylia's height. I suppose I should tell her, if I'm going to tell the council she should know first.

"This is my, daughter. This is Khaylia Skywalker." I say, trying to get the words out. Lara looks at me in surprised. She stands up.

"You broke the code? Anakin the council is going to kill you, not to mention Obi-Wan. Who's the mother?"

"Padmè is the mother." I reply back to her.

"Senator Amidala?" She asks me.

"Well now that the secret is out, you can call her Senator Skywalker now."

"You're married to her too! Skywalker you are in trouble." She replies. Khaylia starts to giggle, she's not used to this. Or course she finds this funny. We both forget that she's still standing there.

"Oh right, I am Lara Dirpa, your Father has gotten me in trouble a lot when we were younger. Nice to meet you youngone." Lara says to Khaylia smiling. Khaylia gives Lara her hand to give her a handshake.

"We better get going, the council is expecting me. It's time to tell them the truth as I did to you." I say breaking the conversation.

"Anakin if you get exiled, it's been a pleasure to serve next to you."

"It has been a honor for myself as well." I reply and bow back to her. Poor Khaylia doesn't know this culture that we'll and she's most likely confused.

"May the Force be with you." Lara says, before I can reply Khaylia replies for me. "And to you as well Lara!" She May be 4 but she's smart for a 4 year old. I'm going to miss her dearly. I look around with more people staring at me. Normally only the Jedi recruiters walk in with a small child. They must sense the connection between her and I. I sense Khaylia's nervousness, I wouldn't blame her. We get to the elevator that leads to the council chambers. I temple guard steps in front of me, and points to Khaylia.

"She is with me and I am presenting her to the council." I tell the temple guard. He moves out of the way, letting us make our way up. We walk into the elevator, I sense Khaylia has a new emotion, fear.

"Don't show fear. I know you're scared but fear leads to the dark side. I'm scared too but I don't show it." I tell her. She hugs me, only being able to reach my legs. I pick her up and hug her.
