Unstoppable - A Star Wars Story

Chapter 6

The Republic ship we entered lands on a star destroyer. Dad and I exit the ship along with Captain Rex. 

"Good to see you Rex." I say to him. 

"Good to see you as well Commander Skywalker." He replies and walks off to meet with the other 501st clones. I followed but I was stop by Dad. He grabs my shoulder and says.

"Khaylia before we go any further I need to talk to you." I nod. This is going to be one of his lectures, calling it now.

"This is your first mission. You need to always be on high alert and be careful of your surroundings. This place is no place for padawan learners. I'm not telling you all of this just because I am your father, I am saying this as a elder to you. Be careful." He finishes his mini lecture. 

"I will Father." Time to get in military mode.

"I love you Khaylia." He says to me. 

"I love you too Dad." I reply. We walk off to meet the 501st clones. 

"What are the plans General Skywalker?" A Clone asks.

"The plan from what I've heard is to aid General Kenobi and the 212th. Commander Skywalker and I will lead you all in the front. Pushing through the Separatists with the 212th and General Kenobi with us. We'll fly down on the gunships once we get out of hyperspace." Dad says to the clones. We will land the gunships in front of General Kenobi's men, be prepared to fight the minute the doors open. The minute we land is the minute you start to fight"

"May the Force be with us all." I say to the clones.

"Dismissed." He tells the clones and they break off. I start to get nervous, what if I mess up, what if this mission fails because of the errors I could make.  I am sure dad sense my nervousness. 

"You're going to be fine Khaylia. You'll be right next to me pushing through the Separatists. We'll make it home in one piece." He says to me giving me. 

"It's just, it's my first mission. And I'll be meeting my new master. It's all kind of nerve racking." I reply to him. Rex still standing there decides to say something. 

"You'll be alright Commander. I've been through many missions with the General and we always make it out alive. This isn't the worst missions we've had." He tells me with reinsurance. I smile at him, I can see why Dad talks about him a lot. We make our way out of hyperspace. 

"Alright, load into the gunships!" Dad yells so all the clones in the area could hear him. I follow him and Rex into a gunship with other clones already inside. The doors shut, I feel nervousness and excitement. Dad puts his hand on my shoulder. 

"You're going to do fine Khaylia." He tells me again, I give him a node. I feel the gunship take off and go into the planets atmosphere. We start to land and Dad ignites his lightsaber. I ignite mine as well. Both of our blue sabers lighting the inside of the gunship, the doors open and we run out. I hear a Clone yell out. "For the Republic!" He yells. I instantly deflect the red bullets coming at me. 

"Just follow my lead." I head Dad say. I run up to a droid, cut its gun in half then cut the droid. I do the same to the rest of them. I look beside me and see Dad putting a saber through one.

A few hours later

I hear a droid yell, "Retreat!" I continue to run up and slice droids, the more gone, the better. Dad gives me a look that says 'Enough.' I run back over to him and disignite my saber. We walk back towards the camp that the 212th has set up. We walk over and meet up with Master Kenobi.
