The class period went by faster than you wanted it to, and before you knew it austin was packing his things up and you had to say goodbye. This was the only class you had together for the day and that made you extremely sad.
The bell rang and Austin was out the door before you could utter a goodbye. Sulkingly, you made your way to the lunch room to eat.
"Why do you look so upset {y/l/n}?" Your best friend Alex Constancio asked when he sat down with you at your guys usual table.
You sigh and nod your head behind him towards Austin's table, where the head cheerleader, Taylor, was all over him. You unwrap your sandwich and look down at the table. Alex knew you had a huge crush on Austin and the weird thing was Austin and Alex were really close friends, until recently when Austin made varsity football.
"He wouldn't go for someone like her anyways." Alex shrugged and you shook your head.
"How would you know? You haven't talked to him in ages." You mutter under your breath before getting up and throwing the reminder of your food in the rubbish bin. You weren't hungry anymore.

Austin didn't show up to class Tuesday and you were left alone to listen to your own music by yourself.
It was Wednesday morning and your were extremely anxious to get to your next class. Chemistry. You decided this morning that you wanted to look as cute as you could for austin today. You wore a floral tank top with brown buttons down the front that were fake and a pair of high waisted ripped shorts. You curled your hair and did a little extra for your makeup as well.
As you waited for the bell to ring signaling the end of math class you played with the frayed ends of your shorts.
When the bell finally rang you were the first one out of class, you quickly made your way to your locker to grab what you needed for class. While you checked your makeup in the mirror of your locker, Alex came up to you.
"I'm guessing this," he motioned to your hair and outfit. "is for Austin?"
You smiled slightly and nodded.
"Do you think he'll like it? Is it too much?" You ask worriedly.
"Nope. I think you look fantastic." Alex smiled and you return the smile.
You quickly grab your book and wave goodbye to Alex as you made your way to chem.
Austin was already at your lab table when you walked in. He was staring at the door and when he saw that you entered he smiled. You quickly look at the ground as you make your way to the table.
"Hey." Austin says as soon as you sit down.
"Hey." You smile back.
"You look nice today." He says and you look at the tabletop, blushing.
"Thank you." You say and the sub walks in.
"Alright so I know I said you guys had nothing to do but your teacher just sent in a quick worksheet for today. Your supposed to work on it with your partner." The old man said as he passed out the papers.
"I didn't grab my book, mind sharing with me?" Austin asked you.
"Of course not." You reply sliding the book in between both of you. You get a paper and begin working on it. Pushing your hair behind your ear and tapping you pencil eraser lightly on the table, you read over the section in the book that you needed to answer the question. You could feel Austin's eyes on you and you tried not to blush under his intense stare. After about half way through the page you look up and he immediately looks down at the book and pretends to read it. You smirk slightly.
"I saw that." You say turning back to the book and reading on. Austin looks back at you.
"Saw what exactly?" He asks.
"You staring at me." You reply not looking up.
"Can't help it. Sorry." Austin smirks and looks back at the book. You blush and bite your lip.
You were struggling with the last question on the worksheet. Groaning you slam your book shut. You hear austin chuckle and you glare at him. He puts in hands up in defense.
"Sorry. Sorry." He says and you laugh. You look down at his spot on the desk and see it's empty.
"Your done?" You ask astonished.
"Yeah I've been done for a few minutes. I'm good at chem." he replies.
"Obviously." You scoff.
"How about we make a deal." He says.
"What kind of deal?" You ask skeptically.
"Il give you the last answer if you do something for me."
"Like what?" You ask.
"Come to the home coming game, it's a rival game." He replies smiling.
"I'll think about it." You say and you look at the time. You only had a few minutes left.
"You only get the answer if you say yes." He says and you playfully groan.
"Fine, I'll go." You say smiling.
"It's 24." He replied as the bell rings. "See you there gorgeous."
He grabs his bag and leaves you at the table baffled.
