"Are you sure you are okay, Baby Rin?" Dara asked, looking at her friend in concern. The two girls were in Daesung's cafe waiting to meet up with Bom and Minzy. Dara was looking forward to introducing Chaerin to the two.

Chaerin, who had been gazing down at her hot chocolate, looked up upon hearing the nickname Dara had given her. She smiled.

"Of course I am, Unnie. What makes you think I'm not?" She asked.

"Well you look like you want to murder your poor hot chocolate and on top of that you have been sighing since we got here." Dara answered. She reached a hand across the table and placed it on Chaerin's. "You can tell me what's wrong, Chae."

Chaerin frowned. "I think you already know, Unnie. I'm pretty sure Bae Oppa already told you."

"Youngbae briefly mentioned something to me, but he didn't tell me everything. He just said you were really pale when you stopped by the station to see him for lunch. What happened at the children's center?"

"I saw a ghost, Unnie. A ghost from my past."

Dara's eyes widened. "What? Are you saying you saw Jiy..."

"Yeah." Chaerin was quick to cut her off. She really didn't want to hear Jiyong's name at the moment. The whole ordeal yesterday had had her looking over her shoulder after she left.

"He... he was there? But why?" Dara asked.

"He volunteers there. I found out he's going to be my partner."

"Omo, did he talk to you?"

Chaerin nodded. "Yeah he told me he's changed." She murmured, thinking back on what happened yesterday.

After she said his name, Jiyong stared at her with wide eyes. He couldn't believe it. Chaerin was standing right in front of him.

Six years he hadn't seen her and here she was.

He took a step forward to once again greet her, but stopped noticing the fear in her eyes.

        "Hunchae." He whispered.

"Ah yes Ms. Lee. This is your partner, Kwon Jiyong." Jill smiled. "He'll be working with you Tuesdays and Thursdays."

What? Chaerin would be working with him. Was this fate? He had been wanting to see Chaerin for five years now. He had been wanting to apologize to her for what he did.

Three years he had been in jail and another two he was sent to an institution to get help. Last year when he got out as a free man, he showed everyone how changed he was.

He had long ago realized that he had merely been obsessed with Chaerin. He was never in love with her. Those around him helped him to realize this.

This must be some test though.

He had only recently been working at the Children's Center for a couple of months now and he never once thought he would see Chaerin again.

So he was definitely shocked to see her.

Chaerin looked at Jill, choosing to answer her.

"Ah yes I've met him." She softly spoke. She then smiled at Jill. "I'm afraid I must be heading out now. I have an appointment to get to."
