The next day...

Xiao Yu and Wuji are in the market place again, thinking of a way to get in the manor.

"Haish, that girl!" Xiao Yu said in irritation. He could still feel the lump on his head. Wuji chuckled. "That's what you get for bullying a girl."

"Ya, she's the one who bullied me! She already punched me and didn't even give the recommendation letter."

"It's your fault for being confusing." A voice said, interrupting them.

"Ziyan!" Xiao Yu said happily. Walking towards the princess. "Why are you here?"

"Here." Yan Da said, waving the letter at Xiao Yu.

"Whoa, Ziyan you're really amazing! Thank you for this," he said about to get the letter.

"Ei, not to quick. I'm giving these to you guys in return of a favor."

"A favor?"

"Yep."

"What is it?"

"I want you guys to be my informants. My mother had been so secretive these past days. She even urged me to come here. So, I want you guys to tell me anything and everything that you'll hear about our sect." Yan Da said to the duo.

"Sure." Xiao Yu said in confidence.

"It's a deal then. If you ever lie to me, I'll cut you into pieces," the fire princess said, tapping Xiao Yu's chin. The man gulped, nodding. Yan Da then smiled, leaving the two alone.

"Princess Ziyan is really something, isn't she?" Wuji asked, breaking the silence between them.

"Y-yeah." Xiao Yu said, a bit terrified of the fire princess. Yet he could feel his heart beating in longing for her. He frowned. Since, I met her I've been feeling weird a lot lately. I also felt a shift on my energy.

Xiao Yu and Wuji then quickly went to the manor. In there, they were tested to see if they are fit to be the manor's disciple. When they've been accepted, they were trained every day. At night, the two did their best to investigate the place and find anything that's connected to the murder of Wuji's parents.

Lan Shang and Yan Da became closer again too. Yan Da gets flashes from time to time but there's still a big gap on her memory. Day by day too, the worry she felt about her mother grew stronger. The contacts from her mother had stopped. Xiao Yu and Wuji couldn't find anything about them too.

Currently, Yan Da is pacing back and forth in her room. She feels restless for some reason. A dove then landed on her window sill. A letter was attached to it.

"Princess Ziyan, how are you? This is Dongwei. We're currently at the Bu'er city. Princess Ming Yue told us not to tell you but I know that you're worried. Here's the place we're staying.... "

Yan Da quickly got her sword and left the manor.

"Dongwei!" Yan Da called out, looking around the place. "Dongwei!" she said again. Strange. Why isn't she answering? Opening the door, she gasped in horror.

The place is covered in blood and the bodies of her mother's disciples lay still on the floor. Yan Da quickly went to the others.

"Cui He!"

"Dan Mei!"

"Dai Zhu!"

"Piao Bai!" She called out, checking them one by one. Sadly, they're all not breathing. "What happened!?"

"There's no need to shout." A man then said from behind her. Turning around, she saw three men smirking smugly at her.

"Who are you!?" Yan Da asked loudly. Her anger apparent.

"The grey, blue and red cavalries of 12 Calvaries of Tianmen."

"Tianmen?" Yan Da repeated. Mother's mortal enemies. "Did you all kill them!?"

The man smirked. "Wrong! It was me alone!"

"You bastard!" Yan Da said, attacking. The man quickly defended himself. Yan Da could feel her body heat up. Eyes burning in anger. They were her friends. Even if they didn't know her at all, they still welcomed her in their lives.

The three men were surprised. No one has been able to fight them like this. Even the famous heroes, couldn't compare to them. However, this woman was able to injure them here and there.

The three men then looked at each other, bringing their hand up. They launched their most powerful attack. It was too late for the fire princess to evade the attack so it hit her.

Yan Da gasped, crouching down. Blood in her mouth. "You cowards." She spat. "Ganging up on one woman."

The man wearing the red armor was about to finish her off when a sack of flour was thrown at him and the others. Unabling them to see.

"Ziyan, let's go!" Is what Yan Da last remember before she passed out.

Xiao Yu then quickly went back to the manor. The unconscious fire princess in his arms.

"Wuji! Quick!" He said, laying Yan Da down on his bed.

"What happened!?" Wuji said, eyes wide. The fire princess is now really pale.

"I'll tell you later. Get Doctor Chang here. Quick!"

"Okay. Okay." Said Wuji hurriedly leaving the room.

Xiao Yu then sat down beside Yan Da. Worriedly looking at her.

"Ei, Xiao Yu! Doctor Chang isn't in his room! Where could he have gone to?"

"How could I know!? Why are you asking me!? Of all times to be gone." Xiao Yu said in frustration. "Wuji go bring me some water."

"Ha!? What for!? She's not giving birth is she!?"

"Aish, it's for a bath! Quick, go!"

Yan Da then groaned in pain. Xiao Yu quickly crouched down, studying her. Dislocated arm and internal injuries. I could help her with the first one but the internal injuries... Aish, act quickly Xiao Yu or we'll lose her.

Taking a deep breath, Xiao Yu held Yan Da's arm. "One, two, three!" He said, popping it back. Yan Da's screamed. Tears coming from her eyes.

Hearing that, Xiao Yu's demeanor changed. The energy in the room changed too. Also, the air inside the room became cooler.

Yan Da was then enveloped in a blue energy, healing all of her injuries. Not long, she looked better than before. Xiao Yu then slumped beside her, unconscious.

When Wuji returned, he saw the two peacefully sleeping. Smiling, he left the room quietly.

If he only looked down, he'll notice the seemingly innocent cherry blossoms scattered on the floor.
