Morning...

"Wuji, have you seen Yan Da?" The mermaid princess asked, looking around. She'd been looking for the fire princess for a while now. She looked everywhere Yan Da loved to go to but she didn't find her there. Lan Shang's worried. She didn't see the other yesterday too.

"Uh..." Wuji said, looking at the door behind him. The two are standing in front of Xiao Yu's room. He was there to wake up the other man up but then Lan Shang approached him.

Lan Shang's eyebrow rose, noticing the man's action. "She's inside isn't it?"

"Eh, hehe." Wuji said. Lan Shang quickly opened the door and entered the room.

She saw the two still deep asleep. Her forehead creased, looking questioningly at Wuji.

"I don't know what happened but Xiao Yu brought her back severely injured. However, he cured her somehow. Uh, Mistress Lan Shang why don't we leave them for a while? They look really exhausted."

Lan Shang narrowed her eyes." Hmp. Tell Xiao Yu that this will be the only time that he'll get a break. Also, if he ever did something that displeases and hurt Yan Da, I'll cut him into pieces."

"Understood."

"You're done with your duty for today right?"

Wuji nodded.

"Then accompany me for a while." Said the mermaid princess.

"Ha?"

"Let's go and have a drink." She continued, smiling. "Since Yan Da can't accompany me. You'll do."

She then left the room. Wuji followed her, a bit confused.

When the two left, Yan Da opened her eyes. Sitting up, she let her energy flow her body. Weird. I'm all healed. Wuji said that Xiao Yu healed me but the energy that I felt yesterday was different from Xiao Yu's. There was also the scent of cherry blossoms. Now that you mention it. There's always a cherry blossom in the rooms where I chose to stay. I already asked the people around but they always say that they didn't put it there. Hmm...

Looking down, she saw Xiao Yu's sleeping face. She smiled. "Thank you. Though, you're still a troublesome brat to me. Thanks for saving my life."

Yan Da was about to get up and leave when suddenly Xiao Yu's form pulsed. His hair then became long and white. Yan Da's eyes widen, rubbing them. After that, she looked down again. Xiao Yu's appearance is the same. His hair short and black.

What was that? Did I just imagine it? Or did it that really happen?

Leaning down, she studied the man closely. Looking closer, he's pretty cute.

A memory then flashed in her mind...

He looks quite good-looking.

She then saw herself leaned closer to the man, pinching his cheeks.

Yan Da blinked. Unknown to her, the man below her is already awake. Curiously looking back at her.

"Correct me if I'm wrong but are you trying to steal a kiss from me? If you are, you're doing it wrong. You're supposed to close the gap between us. Not only hover above me." Xiao Yu said, teasing her.

Yan Da snapped out her trance, smirking. "Like this?" She asked, moving closer. A very small gap between them. Xiao Yu gulped, surprised. "What's wrong Xiao Yu? You're suddenly quiet?"

The fire princess stated, moving closer. Their lips brushing with each other. Xiao Yu's eyes were wide. Yan Da pulled back, laughing out loud. She winked at him, leaving the room.

Meanwhile...

Lan Shang and Wuji are at an inn, drinking. Well, the mermaid princess is drinking while Wuji is gaping at her in surprise. Why? Because Lan Shang had already drunk three whole jars and is still drinking.

"Uh, Lan Shang I think you've had enough." He said, taking the jar out her hand.

"No! Give it back. I want to forget!"

Wuji frowned. "Forget what?"

Lan Shang laughed. "Have you ever been in love Wuji? To the point that you're about to go crazy because of that person?"

Wuji shook his head. Lan Shang let out a sarcastic smirk. "Lucky you then. I did. I thought that I already forgot about him but no he has to invade my dreams again. Letting me remember... Now, I kind of envy Yan Da... she forgot everything..." Lan Shang said, slumping towards Wuji. He quickly caught her.

He then paid the bill and went back to the manor, carrying the mermaid princess in his arms.
