In the Ice Palace...
Ka Suo was sitting under Shi's cherry blossom tree, thinking.
"Ka Suo?" Li Luo said, interrupting him. She then sat beside him.
"Are you thinking about Prince Shi again?"
The prince nodded. "I just hope that where ever he is. He's happy."
The envoy guardian smiled. "I'm sure that he is. Though, I was really surprised that he didn't leave sooner."
"Huh!?"
"Ka Suo, you noticed it too right? The look in his eyes as days passed by after Princess Yan Da and Princess Lan Shang left the immortal realm."
Ka Suo's forehead creased, remembering his younger brother's state before he left.

Shi's eyes became duller as days went by. There was this look in his eyes like he was slowly dying inside. Ka Suo tried his best to cheer him up. It worked for a while but it didn't last long.
Shi also fell ill. However, Huang Tuo said that there was nothing wrong with him physically. Ka Suo urged Shi then to tell them what's wrong but his brother kept his mouth shut. Never uttering a single word to them even to Princess Lotus who was really worried about his son.
Days passed and Shi's condition became worse. He doesn't talk to them anymore. His smiles were strained and he even lost weight. He was barely sleeping too. The black rings in his eyes were a proof.
One time, Ka Suo didn't find him in his room. Panicked. He called out the others, asking them to help him look for the younger prince. Hours passed and they didn't find him. They already looked everywhere.
"Well not exactly every where." Li Luo said, to the distressed Prince and the others.
"What do you mean?" Ka Suo asked.
"There's one place we didn't look at." She said. She then directed them towards a room.
"Why would he be here?" Ka Suo asked in confusion.
"Let's just check to be sure," Li Luo said, opening the door. They all then entered it. Ka Suo and some of the others gasped in surprise.
Li Luo wasn't wrong. There inside, Yan Da's room, was Prince Shi. He was peacefully sleeping on the bed. The fire princess's robe was covering him. Even though they couldn't see his hands, they could see that it was tightly holding the rim of the robe.
They then looked at each other, silently communicating and making a decision. They then quietly left the room. That time, they finally realized it. How much Yan Da meant to the younger Ice Prince.
So, they weren't really surprise when one day Shi suddenly disappeared from the immortal realm. Leaving only two notes for Ka Suo and his mother.

Ka Suo sighed. "Do you think he found her?"
"I hope he did. But I know that if he hasn't yet he'll definitely find her." Li Luo said, sincerely. "Prince Shi is very stubborn after all."
Ka Suo chuckled. "You're right. All we can do now, is wait for their return." He said, holding his lover's hand. Li Luo smiled, resting her head on his shoulder.
The two then watched the sun go down, painting the sky with different colors. Praying that they'll see the three royals someday .
