Calling the streets home

Chapter 3 First day

The sun creeped over the buldings as i woke up to a draging noise but i brushed it off. i realised no one was awake apart from me and celeste. The only reson i knew she was awake or thought she was is because she said she knew me and trusted me then told me she was sceard of the dark so i stayed next to her as she fell asleep i promised i would protect her. She fell asleep in my arms befor i did. But when i woke up... she was gone. I got up and looked around. I couldnt find her. She wasnt in the allyway. I serchead around for any sighn that she had left or is she had been hurt.

I turned to where everyone else was. And where me and celeste where... when panic took over my whole body.
I stood there frozen...i began to shake...i began to cry... i began to scream...

CELESTE!

Everyone shot up and stared and me. I was on my knees balling my eyes out. Matt ran over to me placeing his hands on my shoulders" robyn honey what happened are you hurt!?"

I sobed and yelled "im not hurt but celeste is!" It was at that moment everyone lost there shit." What happened to her!" Matt practicly screamed at me. I told him " last night she said she knew me and trusted me. Then she said she was sceared of the dark so i huged her untill she fell asleep. Right befor she closed her eyes i told her i wouldnt let anyone hurt her. Then when i woke up she was gone there was no sighn or hint to where she whent or if there was a strugle." Tears began to flod down my face "then i looked to where we where sleeping" i said i lifted my arm slowly and pointed at the wall. Everyone began to tear up blood was on the wall where me and celese where and there was writing that said

come and find me

"Celest was the child of the group we ceard for her like she was our little sister." Lauren yelled punching the wall leaving a crack in the brick her fist made contact with.

I shakaly stood up and made my way to the blood on the wall. I lifted my hand and placed my finger on it the second i made contact i pulled away. I staired at everyone as there eyes where fixsated on my finger as blood ran down it like watter. It was only minits old.

Then i rememberd the thud i had herd minits ago i ran out of the alyway as my eyes dart looking for something. Anything. Then i see it. A man with celeste draped over his shoulder. My hart sank and rage took its place.

"YOU SONE OF A BITCH! POT HER THE FUCK DOWN!"everyone saw what i saw.the man hadent herd me but soon would know i was there.

As i sprinted along the road and planted my foot in the twats back. He hit the floor. I pounced on him he was a small man but he was out fast it took 3 hits and he was out cold. I grabed celeste in my arms she was begining to wake up but she had blood on her head.

I began to cry as i told her "im sorry i  couldnt keep my promis. Im sorry i couldnt keep you safe. Im sorry i let you get hurt."

She pulled me down and wispered in my ear "you dont you remember me do you?" She asked in a shakey voice. I looked down at her wide eyed as she blacked out. Her breathing slowed as i piked her up and yelled "wheres the nearest hospital! Shes bleeding hevaly from her head!"

Matt lifted celeste from my arms and ran we followed him. All hopeing we could save her.
