Emma POV (picture of Alison above)
After I had text my parents that Alison was coming over we got in her car and started driving. The ride was silent until Alison decided to talk.
"Is it the nightmares?" she asked
Alison knew that I had nightmares but I never told her anything else.
"what do you mean?" I asked trying to act clueless
"Emma stop playing dumb you know what I mean." she said
" its fine Alison just drop it."
"No Emma its not fine and you know it! tell me what's wrong!"
"OK FINE! I'm not fine, they've gotten worse! I have nightmares every night now and when I wake up they are still there. They don't go away they follow me everywhere I go, they whisper things to me and they wont leave me alone and I don't know why!" I yelled all in one breath trying so hard not to let out the tears threatening to spill at any moment.
After that the car was silent. Not a single word was uttered, and by the looks of it, it was going to stay that way.
When we finally got to the house we still hadn't said anything. I unlocked the door and me and Alison went in. Instantly my mom and dad came in and greeted us.
"Hello girls!, Alison long time no see." my dad said
"Girls how was your first day of school?" my mother asked
me and Alison looked at each other and laughed at their enthusiasm
" Hey Mr.B and Mrs.B it was great" Alison said
"Hey guys school was awesome. blah blah blah now where's the food" I said
everyone laughed and we went and ordered pizza.
After everyone ate it was time for us to sleep. Alison has her own drawer of clothes at my house so she was staying the night.
"Are you going to be ok tonight?" Alison asked
"I'll be fine, don't worry." I replied
"okay goodnight Em, wake me if you need anything."
"I will."
