I entered the detention room and my eyes immediately landed on him. A slight groan escaped my mouth while I shoved my hands in my pockets.
I made sure to sit extremely far away from him to avoid unnecessary conversation.

I decided to sleep for sometime cause yo, sleep is important kids.

after a while I felt a slight hit on my head followed by a faint chuckle.

I decided to ignore it since I'm saving my energy to beat up that shit who complained about me to the teachers.

but my anger got the best of me when he decided to throw as many paper balls as he can at me.

"yah! what the heck?" I spat angrily.

"what?" he said with a slight shrug. innocently looking at me.

"you know exactly what I'm taking about" I said scoffing.

"um I really don't" he said while picking up a paper ball from the floor. mocking me with it.

'This brat'

"really now? want me to come over there and stuff some knowledge in your shitty ass brain so that you'll know what I'm taking about?" I got up from my seat while accidentally dropping my bag on the floor making the teacher wake up from the sudden outburst.

oh I didn't even realise she was there untill now. well it doesn't matter I'm already in the detention what worse could happen.

"you two shut your mouth. Im trying to sleep" and she immediately went back to sleeping.

what even. who made this idiot a teacher?

"rose" his voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"what" I spat without looking at him while picking up my bag.

"rose" he called out again.

"ugh what???" I turning towrds him, clearly annoyed now.

"rose" I bet he is doing this to annoy me.

well I'm not falling for your trap. I decided not to respond to him since it was useless anyway.

"why are you not replying?" he said placing his head on the desk side ways looking at me with a hint of disappointment.

I still did not reply to him. instead I stuffed my earphone in my ears without any song playing.

"are you pissed right now?" he said faking a cry.

"sorryyyy" he said pouting.

he's not cute, he's not cute, he's definitely not CUTE. holy. he's so cute.

I mentally slapped my self for thinking about him this way.

"I was just calling out your name cause its so beautiful, just like you."

I just coughed a bit and looked away. successful in hiding the small blush that had accidentally crept up my face.

dont blame me. Its the first time I've received a compliment.

Theses earphones saved me. If he would have known that I heard all of this it would be so embarrassi-

"I known you can hear everything" he said as a matter of fact with an unreadable expression on his face.

I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. Instead I just mouthed him a 'shut up'.
