"We are gathered here in the Great Hall for a very special day," King Crimsonfire proclaimed, "and this day is the day of crowning new queens."

Argh, I'm so nervous! I thought as I stepped forward.

"Princess Oceanwing, it is time for your coronation, to become the next queen of this kingdom until it is time for you to end your reign," King crimsonfire announced. "Are you ready to accept your role as queen until the end of your days?"

"I accept," I answer, and the king motioned to another dragon. He brought forth a beautiful silver crown, with diamonds embedded in it. I bowed my head as he placed the crown on me, and then I turned to face the crowd. I saw Winter near the front, and she nodded to me with a reassuring smile.

"I now proclaim your new queen, queen Oceanwing!" King Crimsonfire announced, and the crowd cheered. "I am very proud of you, Queen Oceanwing," King Crimsonfire whispered.

"Thank you, uncle," I answered. The crowd started to head out the doors, but a few groups came to me to offer their congratulations. After it was done, I headed to my room and flopped on the bed, exhausted.

"That was fun, wasn't it?" I heard Winter whisper, coming into my room.

"Yeah, it was," I agreed, sitting up. "I can't believe I'm a queen now..."

"You earned it, and I'll be here beside you," Winter assured me.

"How come it happened so early?" I asked.

"We tend to crown new queens and kings at a young age, and if there is another prince or princess, they help them rule," Winter explained. "And if there is still a king or queen or both, they usually step down from their position and retire, and they live a happy life away from the rules of the kingdom for the rest of their days."

"That sounds pretty cool," I murmured. "I wonder why Greenblaze hasn't come yet? We've seen him around the castle, glaring daggers at us, but he hasn't done anything."

"I don't know, but we'll be ready if he tries it again, you have become a master at the fighting arts," Winter answered. "You've learned quicker than anyone how to fight."

"Hey, I thought I would find you here," Silver called, walking in in. "How was the coronation? I had to miss it to help prepare for the King and Queens parting feast."

"It went great, I'm glad you stopped by," I answered.  My stomach rumbled, and I blushed. "Sorry, I'm just really hungry right now."

"Why don't we go to the kitchens and get some food? I'm sure that the dragons who work there would be willing to get us something," Silver offered.

"Yes, please!" I answered, and we went down to the kitchens, where many dragons were working on the food for the feast. We were welcomed as we came in, and we got a bit of food to eat. "Thank you!" I called as we walked out. A couple hours later, we were just sitting down at the feast. I saw Greenblaze coming in, and then he winked at us. Suddenly, a group of dragons came down, and they raced towards me.

"I told you that you wouldn't get away," he called, and then my world went black.
